There is just one thing needed for Mac to be a gaming machine: Devs which port games there! Simple as that. Without that effort no gaming Plattform will survive and that‘s not fault of apple or the users. It‘s the same with mobile platforms: if games get ported over correctly then it works. Look at League of Legends… what is it called wild rift (?)… is the best ported pc game I’ve seen on iOS. And Bloons Tower Defense 6, it runs flawless on all platforms. Yeah, those at not the graphical most intensive games, but there are also plenty of non-graphical intensive games which are also not ported for other platforms. And we need to break down that exclusive bullshit which Sony promotes, if their console can‘t survive without that? Well maybe it needs to go down. But from my experience there are plenty of PlayStation fans out there, which will still prefer to play games on their PlayStation console, even when it‘s available on other platforms. And i add my part to break down that exclusive crap by not buying the console, i want that games on other platforms parallel to the PlayStation release, not years after that.
