Hi Jay, your videos are great and would be perfect in my opinion if you would start them by showing the final result to show what you are going to explain. Keep up the good work!
Oh my god you're amazing, you break it down into such simple and easy to follow steps and at a great pace 🙏bless you🙏 just started Dipping my toes in resolve after using Sony Vegas Pro 14 for the last 4 years
I am brand new to all of this and am attempting to make my own motion graphic... Loved how you broke each part down and did not rush through! Thanks!! Look forward for what's to come!
Appreciate the good work, one can tell that you know what you are doing when paying attention to the incredible lighting in your office, looks very cinematic. Most people don't bother about things like that for a tutorial
Yes Please start a series on creating Motion graphics in Fusion. Trying to come over from FCPX and Motion 5....the nodes got me messed up but I can see the power in them just got to get more comfortable with them. Great content man. Keep teaching us.
Very helpful! Now that Fusion is part of Resolve, there are lots of people like me that are keen to learn it. One thing I’d love to understand would be how to make title templates with variable elements exposed (e.g. text, text size, text color, background color could all be variables that you’d like to change every time you use the title). If you could do a tutorial on that, perhaps around creating a really elegant lower thirds title, that would be very helpful. Thanks for your hard work!
David Skok did you find the templates you were looking for? It's simply a matter of creating a motion graphic, save as a macro and use as a template, choose which parameters are editable.
I've had enough of AE (memory issues I am tired of troubleshooting) so I'm resolved to use Resolve, and this is my first stab at Fusion, thanks for introducing me to this cool tool, looking forward to more :)
I am so lucky i know the node concept from maya. Most apps only work in layers and if you never heard of nodes this concept must be so confusing :) Another great tutorial. Helps me making all the info boxes and stuff for my new edit workflow.
This helped a ton, thanks for making it! I'm still working on translating my After Effects knowledge into Fusion equivalents, so this was a great example for me.
Thank you for this. I just started using DaVinci and really like this workflow a lot better than AE because you can see where everything is tethered a lot easier then all the layers that Adobe uses. Look forward to watching more of your tutorials.
Thanks Jay! Thumbs up! Im a newer student to Davinci 15. Learning the Node. Complicated to me now but I think if I keep binge watching your noteworthy material I should come around. I'll have to look deeper into the "save node" as you suggested to someone else in the comments as I want to save and reuse these templates in future projects which would save so much time. Thanks! -Will
Thanks for this tutorial, it's at the right pace and you explain exactly the right things. I'm new to Resolve, but not to video editing, so I wasted time searching for things like recording key frames. Now I know :)
Thank you Jayare. This tutorial was very helpful. I've watched some of your more advanced videos with the motion graphics and I wasn't quite getting the fundamentals. Thanks for putting all those pieces together and helping to clarify what does what. It might be a good idea to leave a link on some of the more advanced videos with this information as a follow up for beginners.I've been watching the more advanced videos for the past couple of weeks and just now came across this one. Thanks for everything you do. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
Great! Every weekend I learn more... just one minor issue. I use a Mac and accessing the menus etc. you mention I have to figure what the equivalent is from WIN-thing to Mac is. A minor but a slow down nuisance. Else - excellent !
Hey bud, great tutorial. My only recommendation would be to describe every step your making. A few times you gloss over a few key steps and I have to go back over a few times to find the direction. Otherwise, though, great content, really helped me understand motion graphics in Da Vinci. Thanks.
Great video, cleared a couple of things for me. Gonna have to get used to the node based editing after After Effects and Premiere. But hopefully I'll ditch Adobe all the way by the end of the year... fingers crossed.
This is a great piece of software. And it optimizations to the HW is incredible. You can't imagine how I'm torturing my nVidia 660m xD (I know I have an old notebook....)
Great tutorial jay! You nailed it. Have been looking for decent tutorials about fusion and finally I found this channel. Can't say thank you enough. Btw for some reasons I can't keyframe the position of my text and can't open up setting panel to apply the motion blur. Anyone has idea why this is happening?
Great tutorial, really liking your stuff. I do have one little nitpick, towards the end I'm pretty sure you called the ellipse node an "eclipse" node. I might of misheard, no big deal either way. Looking forward to more great vids.
In Mac OS you can right-click anywhere in the media pool and select "New Fusion Composition" to start a new fusion composition. I happen to have a Hackintosh and noticed that option was gone on the Windows side.
Love this! Thinking of making the switch from Adobe, and mograph is one area I need some assurances about in fusion. Subscribed, and looking forward to your series. Also about to raid your Resolve training!
Hi Jay, your videos are great and would be perfect in my opinion if you would start them by showing the final result to show what you are going to explain. Keep up the good work!
Mage Max not sure ... i like the suspens and discover what is done step by step
x2 otherwisw there’s really no point of watching the video and potentially wasting time
just go to the end of the YT viewer timeline and you will see the results ;- ) maybe Jare does this live improvising
Does not really matter, it's more about learning how to use the tools, then use your imagination to make something unique for yourself.

Brother, you are to the point..! wasting not a second. you are my favourite teacher.
I love how excited he gets when he starts showing the effect multiplying
Please never stop creating these videos ...
Great video tutorial! I am a beginner at DaVinci but have 15 years editing experience with Adobe so this is assisting my transition. Thank you!
I'm learning to use Davinci Resolve, and your tutorials are the clearest and most helpful!
Man, I always learn so much from every video. Best Resolve tutorials on RUclips hands-down
So few training videos on Davinci Resolve, thank you so much

Fusion has come so far in 5 years...its actually crazy how much more easier to learn it got
Appreciate the good work, one can tell that you know what you are doing when paying attention to the incredible lighting in your office, looks very cinematic. Most people don't bother about things like that for a tutorial
Finally someone noticed! Lol.
how do you not have way more subscribers, your videos are the best out there.
Yes Please start a series on creating Motion graphics in Fusion. Trying to come over from FCPX and Motion 5....the nodes got me messed up but I can see the power in them just got to get more comfortable with them. Great content man. Keep teaching us.
Glad that you are back. I miss your videos.
Great video. First DR one I have seen that moved slowly enough with enough explanation to allow you to follow.
Thank you.

Man this is so good! Finally wrapping my head around fusion with your tutorials! Much appreciated! 🙏🙏
I've had enough of AE (memory issues I am tired of troubleshooting) so I'm resolved to use Resolve, and this is my first stab at Fusion, thanks for introducing me to this cool tool, looking forward to more :)
This guide just blew my mind. Thank you so much for this! I had no idea I could have a single merge node output to multiple nodes! :D
Lol I was hooked just by the dry comedy of the intro. Loved it.
This video is not a joke, dude. Keep it up.
I am so lucky i know the node concept from maya. Most apps only work in layers and if you never heard of nodes this concept must be so confusing :)
Another great tutorial. Helps me making all the info boxes and stuff for my new edit workflow.

This helped a ton, thanks for making it! I'm still working on translating my After Effects knowledge into Fusion equivalents, so this was a great example for me.

Thanks for this tutorial, it's at the right pace and you explain exactly the right things. I'm new to Resolve, but not to video editing, so I wasted time searching for things like recording key frames. Now I know :)
Spot on video, perfect for a beginner, watched it once, going through it now, just about keeping, but managing to, very well explained.

Awesome, you got me rolling with fusion titles! Yeah
