Thanks Linda. I like your reflections about things that inspired you to implement in your garden. Like the story of the TJ fish pond when you visited your son in college. Also, the sentimentality of collecting bricks in honour of your dear late mother. And the “borrowing” of seeds from the Munich Beer House. Traveling inspires us to incorporate so much in our own little paradise. I also love your diction and how you explain everything and the history of your home and where things were acquired.

The soft yellows and blues in the Fish Pond are beautiful, and the potted topiary just anchors it all perfectly. The presentation is just frothy! Would love to see it when the bulbs are blooming, and will search your previous videos for a peek at the bulbs in bloom. Thanks again for a pleasant trip through your gardens.

I’m a new subscriber and I now feel I have someone with whom I am gardening. Your style really speaks to me.
My comment (other than on how fab the video/garden is!)-Linda be careful about piling up too much wood to avoid creating a termite hotel. I’ve been researching those critters to determine the needs for our 1920’s house. Mostly brick (looks like you have brick as well), but plenty of wood structures.
I’m not sure at what distance from the house a wood pile becomes an issue.

Thank you Linda! I'm looking forward to the boxwood starts video. Is there a green velvet in your boxwood theatre? You inspired me to get some! I live in a zone 4 and saw them at my local nursery and fell in love. Thank you for sharing your love of topiaries and knowledge of the how to. It's broadened my gardening perspective and brought me immense joy to trim my little boxwoods and admire them, even in my zone. Thanks for opening up the possibilities! 💚🌿

Lovely! How deep is the gravel in the area where the plants self-seed? Do you add compost to the area? I love the look of the gravel, but it seems like it would make it difficult to work in the bed.

What about some rocks in the hanging basket as a longer-lasting solution instead of the bark? I initially thought the pieces of bark were rocks, anyway.

Please recommend an online vendor that will ship it to me? I have to get plastic, resin or anything unbreakable. Home Depot doesnt deliver here. Lowe's has a few. Please advice. Thank you!

Hi Linda, your garden is heavenly. I was wondering, can you recommend some small trees? Our backyard has no shade, it's hotter than you know what (here in Memphis) and ... we have power lines to deal with. I would LOVE to have the shade you have but I'm so uncertain about what trees to plant. Thank you!!

Compost or put into the back of the garden where they can’t be seen but would mulch plants snd break down over time. Would also provide habitat for birds in thanks :-)
