@@gabrielkopp2036 I think it really depends on how you are using the bike . If your focus is dirt road and trail use or you just like quality suspension, then yes, the shock kit is definitely worth it. The fork kit is also very good. With both, the suspension is much closer to a quality enduro suspension.
No, I just used air and haven't had any issues. Nitrogen should be more pressure stable with temperature, but for the most part air works fine. Otherwise any good motorcycle suspension shop should offer nitrogen fills.
It is very easy, as the needles are uncaptured. However, this means that they will just fall out of the bearing race if you're not careful, so you have to keep track of them and make sure to reinstall the correct number in each bearing.
Thx for the helpful vid. Im in the market for suspension on my wr. It looks like you have a fair amount of extra weight with the bags on your bike. Did you re-use the factory spring?
@@gainjosh I'm using the stock springs. Those are correct for my normal riding weight and equipment. I usually carry spare tubes, tire change and chain tools.
Totally agree, WR250R is a great bike, I have go-race suspension on one of my WR250R, IMHO definitely worth the investment.
What windshield did you install on your WR250R ?
How much was the kit?I called and he did not give that option..he wanted me to send him my shock for 700 bucks
$295 for the shock, $280 for the forks. This was in early 2020.
@@joshuaw8540 how do you like it? Is it worth it

Did you use nitrogen in the rear shock when you rebuilt it? If so, where did you get it done?!

How easy to re-grease swingarm bearings?
