I have been a very old subscriber of Think school, i started watching your channel because of business case studies, kindly do more business case studies and other business knowledge videos, if possible do a video that explains the main major business technical terms and what they are.
While I am really amazed the way Plivo has identified a very good business model and also made it successful, I don't see Rs 400 Cr to be such a big number with that big infrastructure of super software, cloud computers, agreements with 1600 telecom operators, having presence in so many countries. They should have been much bigger than Rs 400 Cr and I wish plivo and it's founders to be much much bigger and really make gold!!! Can't thank enough the Think School team for bringing in one more exciting video, kudos!!!
Having a profitable and stable buisness on tech isn't a easy task , as tasks changes in a small time compared to other industry A variety of competitors come, cost effectiveness isn't that easy also in tech buisness There a lot of tech buisness which are even unicorn operations are for 5-6 yrs still unprofitable
software industry is really competitive making profit is really difficult. Using cloud based infrastructure has many advantages in terms of distributed system and catering with system downtime but at the same time it is really expensive to maintain.
400cr is the revenue, not the valuation of Plivo. From what I know, it's revenue is around 600cr. Usually for SaaS companies, their valuation stands at 10-30x of revenue, easily valuing Plivo at over 6000-18000cr, or $700 million to $2 billion.
Finally something refreshing!! Please don't go deep into geopolitics and extract business impact from it (at least not so regularly). This kind of content is much much interesting
the backbone is that unique and complex architecture that they able to develop, improve and maintain at scale by hiring the right people. main thing is the people who developed just doesn't go and start there startup as they already know what worked??which normally happens in big tech companies
B2B case studies is an interesting avenue. Would like to see more in detail about how these startups secure their position during the 0 to 1 phase. How did they achieve PMF?
For those people who saying continuously stop geopolitics and start business case study for your kind information geopolitics is much important to understand the market and customers needs .
Always wonderful and exciting listening to you, the best presentation skills in the game. You have made me research the Indian numbers system since I am not familiar with it. I also get to learn a lot about the Indian economy from your videos.
Hey! Please make a detailed video on the Indian IT industry, job losses, US- Europe economy and now middle East. How it's gonna impact the Indian IT industry. What's the future. And what we can expect in the coming months.
His Geopolitical videos are equally good as business case studies, I think both of them should be there. Afterall, we call the world a global village and we should be aware of major geopolitical issues and only few tell us the truth like Thinkschool. Can’t ask him to stop making Geopolitical or Political videos ❤ Hit a like and let Ganesh know how many of us have similar view
U made one video during 2020 about gold rush. It's like a de ja vu. I follow every single video. Love your content. Even my parents and siblings also.. they also love your content
PESTLE P - Political E - Economical S - Social revolution T - Technological L - Legal E - Environmental factors Studied recently in my Softskills class 😊
The background music makes it feel very fast. if you could get the tempo down it would be helpful and we would understand better. Cheers to great videos and content! Love it.
Loved this video. Thanks a ton for creating this video. I know its an exceptional effort that is needed to make such a video. But I am really grateful for this.
Corlineus Vanderbilt also made money during California Goldrush He used his ship transport Business to transport people from east coast to California by ships as there were no railways tracks to west coast during that period
Ohhhh i am seeing my old thinkschool again!!!!! Mannnn i love your business case studies alot!! Please go for more business case studies instead of geo politics 🥺🥺🥺
After so much time finally think school returns with a business case study.. Can you please do a video about the case study of coffee plantation in brazil.
Industry Analysis The Brazilian coffee plantation industry is dominated by large-scale producers with significant market share, such as Grupo 3corações and JDE Peet's, along with numerous small to medium-sized farms that contribute to the diversity of the market. International conglomerates often have a strong presence due to their extensive resources and established distribution networks. Companies typically target both domestic and international markets, with Europe and the United States being significant importers of Brazilian coffee. Specialty coffee markets are also a growing segment, where consumers are willing to pay a premium for high-quality, sustainably sourced beans. Common Competitive Strategies: Differentiation through quality and sustainability certifications (e.g., Rainforest Alliance, Fair Trade). Vertical integration to control more of the supply chain and increase margins. Diversification of coffee varieties to cater to niche markets. Investment in technology to improve yields and reduce costs. Strategic Objectives: Sustaining growth through increased productivity and expanding into new markets. Enhancing competitiveness by adopting innovative farming techniques and sustainable practices. Building brand recognition and loyalty through direct trade relationships and marketing efforts. Focusing on value-added products, such as organic or single-origin coffees, to increase profitability.
Thank you brother for giving these case studies I learned allot from these students rather than my professors this b2b is more effective and easier to learn rather than book study and with realistic examples 🎉🎉🎉may god bless u
Thanks for this amazing video . This help me to understand where there is a problem there comes simple and innovative solutions and finally more than the B2C model business if we have proper ideas in B2C model we can achieve competitiveness with customer satisfaction.
Ganesh bro do videos like biographies of American Business Tycoons Like Andrew Carnegie,JP Morgan,John D Rockefeller,Corlineus Vanderbilt,Sam Zemurray And important events like California Goldrush,1893 Chicago World Fair and it's associated events
I dont why people asking for business case studies thaan Geopolitics. You can learn a lot from geopolitics than from business case study guys. Please understand that.
Hello Sir, how will this type of business model leads to employability generation and hence increases inclusive growth ? How this model fit to the country like India where employability is the issue ? Please guide us! Thanks in advance.
Globally distributed data centres in the age of public cloud is easy to achieve and routing users to the nearest data centre based on their geolocation is usually a setting in the cloud infrastructure (trying to simplify) that's also easy to setup by a decent cloud infrastructure team. I don't think these go so far to count as "barrier for entry" for the company!
Hey Great video. I follow all your videos as they are all insightful. Just a question out of curiosity. You've got millions of subscribers and get thousands of views. Do any of the companies you talk about like Plivo in this case, sponsor your videos or pay you in any way? As I see this as great marketing for a company.
Hi bro ,another great case study , in end of the every video please add 3 lessons in text format ,I used to take screenshots to feature reference, and More Request please suggest the book to study Above 6 Reforms ( social, political, environment, technological, legal, economical) reforms concept better PLEASE ANSWER THIS
Tell us clearly that this is promotional video for plivio ,coz you didn't tell us about how it beat others.Exotel is market leader in this space and this space is quite competitive. Plus having a cloud infrastructure in 7 location is not a big deal for startup today ,because they don't have to build their own infrastructure.AWS ,Azure and AWS are there for such things.
There is no beating others because the market is too huge!!! Space is not so competitive as its made to look. Its like the sanitary pad market, while on the outset it looks like P&G and HUL are competitors they are actually trying to compete with unawareness. So please read more. Having 7 servers is not a big deal, but having 7 servers with telecom contracts is. So read about it to understand it better.
@@ThinkSchoolBro it's indeed a competitive field you know I why ? The suits of product this company is offering is offered by both giants and small company in the industry.Ex- knowlarity ,exotel ,twilio, text local and then you can easily find many not so known it companies in the space(datagen, eurus network ). Then ,you're mentioning about 7 contracts but nowhere in the cloud section you have mentioned about such 7 contracts all you're talking about is complex algorithm developed by them,to be honest anyone with marketing background or business background can easily tell this is 70% promotional and 30% business case study.
