Hold onto your reins, this is THE video you didn’t know you needed to see! This clip is jam-packed with information, including a tutorial on how to correctly hold the reins and use our seat and position to create a kind and harmonious connection.
JJ and Montana demonstrate how the seat and rider’s position play a huge part in rein contact, and how important it is to understand and correctly use the 3 main aids with the reins, while reminding us that we only need our hands for 10% of our aiding system.

What would you suggest to help when I give the reins and my hose stretches down but always has to do a little yank at the end even though I’m at the end of the buckle , there’s no more for me to give? He does it at the stand still and the trot.
