For me the best version of Rex Tremendae is this one here. Not too slow and not too fast.

Best music ever. Ever. I would say when I die I want this played, but I want to be forgotten. There’s no way to forget this. I will easily disappear, this will live forever. As it should. No mortal deserves this.
    Thank you Mozart.

One of the most moving music I've ever heard. It stills making me weep, of mixed joy and pain. Have the Celibidache account with the Munchner Philarmoniker (think the works he did with this Orchestra are his best), and is also sheer beauty what it reveals. But the Academy with NMarriner as conductor remains maybe the more impressive Requiem we have. Can't tell why this work arises such strong emotions in me, but it touches me as few, it's a fact. Don't hear it very often to "preserve my emotions", to treasure them, to say so. The Celibidache account with his notorious search of extasis in music, is a fabulous rendition as well, as said. Would recommend to get both recordings and then compare. Am fond of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields (an their playing on authentic instruments), and have several works with them as interpreters. Both renditions are excellent, but would say the Academy one is the best if you are gonna know this work for the best time. They did such an splendid job for the bso of this movie, that you can't miss it. Absolutely extraordinary performance, it is. 🙄😳🆗👍😇🙏

Es la versión perfecta a mi parecer, las mejores versiones de confutatis y rex tremendae, no tan rápidas ni tan lentas, simplemente perfectas.

It is art. It's the very own definition of feelings, it's honestly undescriptible. A piece of its own; one of the best pieces of work I've ever heard along the 7th symphony and Lohengrin if you haven't heard them already. I also love Vivaldi's concerto for 4 violin in B minor (RV580), as well as obviously the four stations. It's amazing, I wonder how their brain thought worked to pull out such masterpieces.

    [7:14 Lacrimosa]
    Lacrimosa dies illa,
    qua resurget ex favilla
    judicandus home reus.
    Huic ergo parce,
    Deus, pie Jesu,
    Jesu Domine!
    Dona eis, eis requiem!
    Amen.
O dniu jęku, o dniu szlochu,
    Kiedy z popielnego prochu
Człowiek winny na sąd stanie (2x)
    Dobry Jezu (2x),
    a nasz Panie,
    Daj nam wieczne spoczywanie,
    Amen
