My theory: the halo device does offer immortality but not to the wearer. The halo device is the builder of the devices chance at immortality. It turns the wearer into the builder.
My theory: It provides immortality. But the device was not made for other aliens(humans). If used by a human. There would be profound side effects like terrible mutation on the wearer.
@@sashisasj3850 I like this one. The device was made with another species in mind and so it would reconfigure the user to the specs of the unknown species. It likely does rejuvenate the user but the cost is being reformed into something not your own species.
@@sashisasj3850 I like your theory it shows merit and creativity. The only thing that makes me doubt it is the fact that Halo devices are always on dead worlds with dead civilizations. Surely a device that remix the user into the image of the maker would not be from a species that has fallen to time.
QUESTION! Listening to Gersh describe the side effects of the Halo artifacts is word for word describing the symptoms Conrad Curse suffered from, even his unnatural healing , and craving for drinking blood and eating flesh , he was also wreaked with horror filled fits and dreams of madnesses. Do you guys think that Curse was a carrier of a halo device? Maybe that famous crown artifact he was known to wear everywhere.
I think the reason people who use the halo devices hunger for human flesh its because the device doesnt have enough living matter to finish the transformation without adding some
Would it be possible to discover the history of the Halo Devices' creators by 'infencting' a volunteer with one and monitoring their thoughts? Assuming, naturally, that there would be an Inquisitor or Adept radical enough to take such a risk.
What if these things were made for the necrontyr by the old ones when they asked them for immortality, but experiment failed or it was to costly and unpredictable so old ones abandoned it?
it would be nice if sc and wh universes would be merged and sc would be just wh in 2nd millenium, with primitive humans fighting tyranids and some wierd eldars fighting with psi blades
Question: Cypher, Aka the Fallen Angel, is reputed to have lived thousands of years. Far beyond mortal and even space marine lifespans. Thus causing suspition that he is tainted by chaos or he is not simply one person. Could he not have obtained one if the halo artifacts to immortalize himself in order to achieve his hidden goal? A man of his renown could surely have a chance of obtaining this artifact. Thanks guys, love the channel! Just remember all that damn yawning is contagious gersh1! Lol
Question: After some watching Stargate Sg-1 series, there was artifact that were capable of healing persons wounds(1st version to series System Lords to heal any wound in sarcophagi) . So my question is there any piece of relic artifact human or xeno technology that could be used on Emperor to heal those wounds while on Golden Throne and not needing remove him and daemons flooding in.
Suggestion: Please make more character series like you did for Ghazghkull Thraka. Because I know there's a lot more lore for characters like Logan Grimnar and Dante. Can't you guys just make a poll or something? A poll for things like "Which special character do you guys want us to make a series about?"
As far as I know, once applied cannot be removed, and continued ''regeneration'' results into a raw flesh devouring abomination who is no longer in control of themselves, driven only by basic instincts.
Video idea: deep dive on the sigilites they're so shady and shrouded in secret plans and experiments. Also deep dive into the king in yellow, I've only heard him referenced in 40k lore but never anything about who or what he is
Besides the omnipotent emperor I think we could have a universe similar to 40k, with the constant state of wars and planets of nothing but death and chaos
Could you guys do a 40 facts video from any of the three?, or all (that would be nice). anyway the list is: Primaris Inceptors, Primaris Aggressors, and Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought(s) P.s. Great video as always guys! keep up the good work!
Question: if i think about it, the consequences of the halo device.... they sound EXACTLY like how fulgrim behaved during the heresey......think he got one of them?
Hey guys. Great video. I don't even play the game but I love the lore. So cool. Lots of sci-fi stuff seems to have been borrowed from 40k given it started back in the 80s. Quick question: what is the background music you use in your 40 facts videos? It's stuck in my head now. Thanks!
Quick question: What happens when Necrons take a planet from organics, an imperium planet for example, they kill all humans there or are enslaved or something like that.
Really good bid guys I hope you get more topics like this one, I also have a suggestion just a video of random facts like that dont really fit into any other catagory
Maybe its just some effort of the silent king to get a necron recieve its soul and body and those halo devices are just failures of getting a necron fuse with a living being to stop being a mavhine ?
Question: with the return of Roboute Guilliman and maybe other primarchs, do you think Alpharius-Omegon would return, and if he/they do return, would you think that they would still be with chaos or assist the Imperium of Man. Also please do a video on lord solar macharius and the macharius crusade if you can 👍👍.
Question: Chaos Gods are warp entities that form because of emotions, right? So why only the bad emotions? Why are there no "good" Chaos gods? Like, say, the emotion of love. Or is it just that good emotions simply don't exist anymore in the grimdark, far, future?
but slaanesh is a twisted sort of degenerate love. slaanesh only was born after the eldar empire fell into degeneracy, he/she/it didn't exist before that. and love, i'm sure, was around for a long time before that
sdw9997 crank any emotion up to 11 and it is not really a good emotion any more. That is the problem of all the the Chaos gods. Each one of them does have "good" aspects, but they are so extreme that they are twisted. The Eldar gods are (possibly) fragments of the Chaos gods that are much less extreme, and thus not evil.
I have a theory that the Halo devices were created by the Old Ones before War in Heaven who intended to be gifts for necrotyr and give the short live race a chance of immortality but it never came through as the Old Ones during testing discovered the Side Effects and thought it wasn't worth it.
Damn you man! You just, literaly, read text from warhammer40k.wikia.com that's plagiat, in one of your vide you mentioned that you meade research, but that's jsut text ready from internet.
Deus Vult tabletop wise, it's possible. Fluff wise, it's unlikely that a normal human can kill a space marine in combat unless it's through ranged weapons.
My theory: the halo device does offer immortality but not to the wearer. The halo device is the builder of the devices chance at immortality. It turns the wearer into the builder.

Alan Morales possibly I'll make a video on this soon
OneMindSyndicate we don't know if it is the rak gol but it is the rak gol
OneMindSyndicate i
Alan Morales I've thought about that before, seems possible
I think the reason people who use the halo devices hunger for human flesh its because the device doesnt have enough living matter to finish the transformation without adding some
I guess the halo devices were created for the alien race to attain immortality, by assimilation.
Step 1: be the Emperor
Step 2: have everyone else die for you
11:48 valarian What are you doing in warhammer 40k?
Mees arentz The Dominion will not be contained to a single dimension, #MinskforhighlordM42
lol
it would be nice if sc and wh universes would be merged and sc would be just wh in 2nd millenium, with primitive humans fighting tyranids and some wierd eldars fighting with psi blades
I need one of these, maybe two.
2? One of these is good enough my friend. No need to be so paranoid. :p
Step 1: Don't join the imperial guard
Step 2: Join Imperial guard if you happen to be commissar Yarric
Elder Maxson Step 3:Hide in Metal Box
METAL BAWKSES!!!!
How to be immortal in the 40k universe.
1. Be Necron2.Profit
They even have a unit named Immortal.
Question: Cypher, Aka the Fallen Angel, is reputed to have lived thousands of years. Suggestion: Siege of Vraks, martial arts in 40k
Question: After some watching Stargate Sg-1 series, there was artifact that were capable of healing persons wounds(1st version to series System Lords to heal any wound in sarcophagi) . @11:49 Prince Vilarian from StarCraft lol
Episode starts at 0:37
Suggestion: Please make more character series like you did for Ghazghkull Thraka. Because I know there's a lot more lore for characters like Logan Grimnar and Dante.
Can't you guys just make a poll or something? A poll for things like "Which special character do you guys want us to make a series about?"
Hmm....very Cthulhu Mythos feeling
The halo devices are form a species that challange the ruinous powers by trying to be chaos gods themselves.
Would it regenerate the emperor?
That wouldn't be a good idea.
Why?
Gabe Because the user will turn into the mutant
As far as I know, once applied cannot be removed, and continued ''regeneration'' results into a raw flesh devouring abomination who is no longer in control of themselves, driven only by basic instincts.
Sharies for a while but then it would turn him into an alien thing
"To partake on our crusade, one must be Immortal"
Video idea: deep dive on the sigilites they're so shady and shrouded in secret plans and experiments. Also deep dive into the king in yellow, I've only heard him referenced in 40k lore but never anything about who or what he is
Nurgle of Tzeench might have some info on these long dead civs. Nurgle being the oldest of the ruinous powers and Tzeench being well Tzeench.
Halo devices don't sound like such a bad deal. Live forever and...that's it. The only reason the imperium has beef with them is coz they hate progress
thatfishguy 95
The canabilistic murderous mutant it turns you into says otherwise
Besides the omnipotent emperor I think we could have a universe similar to 40k, with the constant state of wars and planets of nothing but death and chaos
That is pretty damn sweet. Such a cool backdrop for villains.
Why don't the servents of the emperor use such device to heal the body of the emperor?
QUESTION: could a Halo device be used to heal the Emperor?
I used to read books on 40k but now I just watch these videos and my life has been forever changed in a terrible and beautiful way.
So it makes you a Vampire basically, minus the classic Vampire weaknesses. It basically makes you a uber crazy Blade the Vampire hunter.
Could you guys do a 40 facts video from any of the three?, or all (that would be nice).
anyway the list is:
Primaris Inceptors,
Primaris Aggressors,
and Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought(s)
P.s.
Great video as always guys! keep up the good work!
Question: if i think about it, the consequences of the halo device.... they sound EXACTLY like how fulgrim behaved during the heresey......think he got one of them?
Suggestion: more Angry Marines, perhaps the Desert Fangs or Reasonable Marines.
Chad McChadison, the most reviled name.
The more I learn of Warhammer 40k, the more I like
Are the Halo devises chaotic in nature? If so could the Tau resistance to the ruinous powers possibly negate the negative effects?
Hey guys. Great video. I don't even play the game but I love the lore. So cool. Lots of sci-fi stuff seems to have been borrowed from 40k given it started back in the 80s.
Quick question: what is the background music you use in your 40 facts videos? It's stuck in my head now.
Thanks!
Ya needz ta do moar tings on da ORKS YA GITS!
AGREED YA NOB
Question/Suggestion: What happened to the fromer Homeworlds of the traitor primarchs in 40k?
Quick question: What happens when Necrons take a planet from organics, an imperium planet for example, they kill all humans there or are enslaved or something like that.
QUESTION: Which do you think is the loudest, Noise Marines or Angry Marines??
Suggestion- Inquisitor Eisenhorn and Ravenor
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Suggestion: Ani-toonspiracy(since this crossovers 40k among other things I like)
spirit stones, you may be mixing them up with the Infinity Circuits in craftworlds
Haha picture at 11:10 is the main character from AC Rogue.
Really good bid guys I hope you get more topics like this one, I also have a suggestion just a video of random facts like that dont really fit into any other catagory
suggestion: more of the Badab war facts
Maybe its just some effort of the silent king to get a necron recieve its soul and body and those halo devices are just failures of getting a necron fuse with a living being to stop being a mavhine ?
Question: who is more brutal Ronn Jeremy or cypher?
What about a 40 facts on gregor eisenhorn??
Suggestion: Baneblade super heavy tanks and it's variants.
First I was like, hell yeah I want a halo device.... But then a few minutes in.... ah hell no!!
I now have an idea for a new campaign. Thank you.
Soundalchemist and Gersh One, have y'all made a video on the canon or true story of the dawn of war 2 games?
Suggestion: Lord Commander Solar Macharius
This sounds awsome. I need one of those
lol nice SC 2 picture at 11:47
Suggestion:Executioners successor chapter
That answers my question about Yarrick.
What is the image at around 13:56?
Question: What is your theory on how Belisarius Cawl has lived so many years?
Being mostly machine
QUESTION!!!!!
Are Imperial or Pre Heresy ships capable of having a Hyper Drive of sorts for Light Speed capabilities??
The Iron Kai Date age of technology human ships are, great crusade ships aren't
Question: with the return of Roboute Guilliman and maybe other primarchs, do you think Alpharius-Omegon would return, and if he/they do return, would you think that they would still be with chaos or assist the Imperium of Man. Also please do a video on lord solar macharius and the macharius crusade if you can 👍👍.
Is it poasible the golden throne is actually keeping the Emporer from resurrecting?
LMGunslinger
Yes

sdw9997 love is slaanesh

question: is it possible for a human psyker to tap into an ork waaagh! and has an ork warboss ever used a psyker from another species
I LIKE WHAT YOU GOT
I bet you can find one of these in Commoragh...
I guess this is how the Old Ones became the old... ones.
speaking of Halo, I like the Halo Games besides 5's Story
"Emperor Garbage"... I smell Heresy!
Will the EMPEROR repair or rebuild(aka destroying the imperium) the current state of the imperium of man?
I wonder, if tao encountered 1, would they let it live to learn from it. They've done dark things before in the name of the greater good
Why would you not just have it surgically removed and replace it again when you need it?
Suggestion: can we get an Ollanious Pious viddo
Suggestion : the black lock fan space marine chapter (on 1d4chan)
Suggestion: tau
So umm sounds to me like big E used this as as template for space marines
The space marines are ageless right that's close to real immortality some are like thousands of years old I bet
Little known fact the Halo devices are actually gua'old sarcophaguses
question: can imperial saints turn to chaos ?
this sounds like new aleins or the necrons king solution.
Suggestion: garviel loken!!!!!
Da Fluff!
So hallo devices were made by the old ones possibly
Pray the Emperor ... the emperor protect .. so you will be immortal ;)
Who would desire immortality in 40k?
Suggestion: Agrel Tal
Emperor protect us from the xeno...
They sound like bloody vampires
I have a theory that the Halo devices were created by the Old Ones before War in Heaven who intended to be gifts for necrotyr and give the short live race a chance of immortality but it never came through as the Old Ones during testing discovered the Side Effects and thought it wasn't worth it.
Damn you man! You just, literaly, read text from warhammer40k.wikia.com

The Old Ones is a likely source
What happen if this device give to the emperor...??
QUESTION: How many Imperial Guards does it take to kill a single Chaos/Space Marine? Can a commissar 1v1 a Chaos/Space Marine?
Deus Vult tabletop wise, it's possible. Fluff wise, it's unlikely that a normal human can kill a space marine in combat unless it's through ranged weapons.
Deus Vult hundreds of guardsmen. And yes a commissar could go one on one against a chaos spacemarine but only yarrick would survive
Yarrick stubborness to die stat is OVER 9000! >:D
holyshit.. so it would probably take an entire regiment of imperial guards to fight off against a battalion of chaos space marines?? o_o
Gaunt and his ghosts shit all over that, they eat chaos space marines for breakfast
Give this trinket to the emparah
NOPE, I changed mi mind!
i wish this were a faction holy shit.
could they not heal the god emperor with a halo device ?
40 facts? Feels more like 20-25 with a lot of repeats.
I think you need to start numbering them in your videos.
Also: 6:38 - darth vader knock off.
