I excepted an offer about a week ago moving more north. Have lived in Fl since 82. They call the porch a lanai in fl.

This brought tears to my eyes. It reminds me SO much of the house and neighborhood we raised my children at for 20 years. We use to have all their birthday parties at the pool. Enjoy it! Life goes fast. ❤️

Love the community perks, pool looks awesome. I personally liked the floors, grey will be dated in a few years, med wood tone is timeless. I’d just get all stainless appliances, leave the cabinets like they are and get new quartz countertops. Live with it awhile, and then see if the floors bother you enough to change. When you get all your stuff in, it will look like home, and you may find that the things that bother you on first look, aren’t that noticeable when you live with them for awhile. Congrats, hope your closing goes smoothly.

Congratulations on your new home! Of the four houses that you shared with us, that would have been my choice also. And the clubhouse, pool, trails, good neighborhood, etc. are all just extras that make the deal even better. I hope the move goes very smoothly!

I liked living in gated communities more than just typical neighborhoods in Florida. It was so nice to have sidewalks and a gym and all those amenities. Where typical communities I felt very stuck in the home with no sidewalks and nowhere to really go nearby. Congratulations and I hope you love it!

I love that house so far. That busy street in back would bug me. I love a sink in the garage. My house in North Carolina I loved. Just to many dog’s barking all day and night. I had a small bathroom in the garage with the huge sink. Great when your working outside and not track dirt inside.

Wow ,what a nice neighborhood. I can imaged you chose the first one. The open concept, the flow of the rooms. The amazing porch to hold your bear lights. The second house seemed choppy. It would have been a road map. The club house is beautiful and well done. That will give you a change of scenery. Congratulations on your new home and new beginnings..

So, the first one you showed us, not the one with the pool and gym, etc. Yay! You bought a house! And now that you're in Florida, your screened in porch is called a "lanai". 😎 I wish you and Stella all happiness in your new home. I'm glad your mom is nearby too. It's good to have family nearby 😸💖🏠

Yay! I am so happy for you and Stella. The house you chose looks so cozy and comfy with lots of room to help keep work from spilling into your home life. I live two houses from a major road and got used to it very quickly. If you plant some trees or bushes along that back fence it might help deaden the sound. Getting side fence panels might also help a bit. Having the house is full of furniture and area rugs will also help. I actually love the flooring. It is not so "in-your-face" like the other one you showed in this video. I think it will melt into the background once the house is furnished.

Please do not walk Stella down by the lake. Gators are really bad here. I'm sure you already know this but sometimes people moving down don't understand how abundant they are. Congrats on the house...lazy day today so I'm binging on your videos to get caught up on all the happenings! ENJOY!!

Love the first house. The ability to open the sliding doors into the screened porch is fantastic! New roof is wonderful-they go fast in Florida due to the strong sun. The kitchen appears to have "great bones" so will be easy to put your touches/updates on. Yard is a good size but not too big! Stella is going to love her new home! CONGRATULATIONS!

The living room dining room area I make into one big living room area with a seating area for reading. The reset wall I would put a nice bookcase with a music system. And take out the ceiling light and put recessed lighting in.
Welcome to Ocala! Yes ....... Marion Oaks does have some area's you wouldn't have wanted to be in. If you haven't already found them...... Go check out the White elephant and Tumbleweed by the square (downtown) on magnolia. They sit right next to each other. They both have big wearhouses besides the little "Packed" store. Probably see you around town.

What a great location. That community center sold me, just seeing a pool in the winter is so much better than Illinois. It won't be long before it is warm enough to use. Now to see you moved and settled in. Congratulations Jeffrey!
Congrats! the house and area look like a real nice place to live. I like the community vibe it's giving with the clubhouse availability, lake and all many activities that must go on. When you work at home, you need sometimes to just step out and get away from your Home/Work environment .

Looks like a nice getaway but you get to live there.🌈🤗🎊 If you wanted to change the floors could you just put it on top or lighten/tint what's there? Then you'll be warmer and less work. The recreation area is stunning. Wow. How beautiful. Honestly, how many of us would love to walk out to our own personal rec centre. Close to home. No traffic to worry about, all there, gym, pool, Large lake, seating area.....OMG. Love. If your stressed, you can go for a walk in your area, swim, walk along the lake and picnic. I really really love this set up. Just so stunning. What a find. Good for you. Well done.
