Great to see you out & about again, you and Katie have such fun together. Nice to see Barb again! Miss her. What ever happened to your partner the nurse? You never mention him. Please do an update.
Another great adventure with you two and then surprise-Barb! Hooray! You all have the best and most interesting, fun times. Thanks for sharing all the fabulous details of those gorgeous buildings. ❤
Really enjoyed this slice of St. Louis ... so much improved from when we last saw it in 1977! And add Barb, to boot! Jeffrey & Katy, you are a fun vlog combo ... keep recording. Thank you! Best. Rich (& Brenda) 😊😊😊
I hope Jeffrey is not feeling some kinda way because we also really think you are cool, he must know we are here for him and we get bonus friends now...and thats great!
I’ll have to check out the museum someday. My mother worked as a telephone operator for Bell telephone in the 40s/50’s in Reno. She told the story about how disconnected Jimmy Dirante twice because he was cussing at her and she warned him to stop or he would not be connected through. Third time he called he started apologizing before she even started to speak. She finally put his call through. It would be interesting to see how the switchboards worked.
Fun fact…..the Moon Pie was invented in Mobile, Alabama and on New Year’s Eve, instead of dropping an apple like NYC, they drop a Moon Pie. Maybe that’s a fun trip idea for you and Katie.
When I was in college I had a part time on-campus job as a switchboard operator. The switchboard was vintage perhaps 1950, and had not been updated let alone replaced, and it was virtually identical to the cord board at the Telephone Museum - it was a relic when I worked there, but it was fun to use. The operator wore a vintage headset as well. It was fun to see one again. Thanks for the memory!
Thank you for sharing this video Jeffrey and Katie! I was born in Missouri and haven't seen these places so it is very interesting to me. Love the fountain and the fascinating architectural features of the buildings. Also worked on a switchboard like the one the woman demonstrated to you and used a similar phone dialer you bought as a souvenir! I really appreciate you bringing to life parts of my home state that I have missed. Might be time to re-visit! ❤
I personally like videos like this better than the speak easy…anyway be safe from the hurricane. Not sure if it is going to reach that far in the state.
Thus was great, IDK if I liked the Telephone Museum (my logo is a phone) or the Queen light show, I have been a Queen fan since the 70's and was lucky enough to have seen them live
I want to go to that phone museum now! I feel like if the grid went down if we knew about different metal wires, and magnets..we wouldnt need "the man" anymore..haha!
I'm still thinking about your New Orleans trip. You must have breakfast at Brennen's. It's a 3 course meal. It's in the quarter. Another more casual place for muffalettas is Maspero's across from the Jax brewery. Royal St has high end antique shops. Magazine Street is a melange of shops and eateries. A must are bigness at Cafe DuMonde across from Jackson Square. The French Market is alive on the weekends. Thrifting in Jefferson Parish is good. Stores on Jefferson Highway, Airline Drive, and Veterans Boulevard. Off of Veterans across the side street from Lowes is Renaissance higher end consignments. On Carrollton Avenue 2 blocks of Canal Street are Venice Italian Restaurant and Brocato's Gelato and bakery. The chocolate dipped cannoli is to die for. For a real neighborhood restaurant in Kenner is Come Back Inn. Good food at good prices. I love their red sauce and the onion rings. Need more info, just let me know.
I guess u no longer buy and resell Jeffrey. And you’re no longer with mark. Wow your life is really different. And unless you address it in your vlog we don’t know what’s happening in your life and u no longer vlog as much as u use to. Been following u forever and a day but everything is so different.

I love those old ornate buildings, that Station was fabulous. I am glad they kept the historical old features. And Freddie Mercury 😍❤
Great old buildings. Have you been up in the arch yet?

Stay safe from hurricane milton 🙏
Beignets at the Cafe du Monde are sort of like funnel cake, but better.
I live in about 5 miles from the telephone museum and have never been there
Why the homage to Queen? Seems random lol
How about homage to the 1st Female Pres 🎉
lol
