Daegu Monorail (Daegu Metro line 3)

Daegu Monorail is the line 3 of Daegu Metro in South Korea. Trains are driverless and there are liquid-crystal windows that automatically fog when passing apartments that are close to the line.

Wow! Very cool to be above ground providing a great way to avoid animals crossing the tracks, especially avoiding cross traffic which is a major cause of accidents...oh wait, maybe MONORAILS aren't like METROLINKS OR AMTRACK which is what we have here in the state of California, in the U.S.
The only thing close to a Monorail I've ever been on was at Disneyland (in California) to transport people from the parking lot to the entrance for Disneyland because it's so massive and too far to walk from the parking lot.
The other one was in Stateline at the Ca. & Nev. border. It was used to transport people from the casino on on side of the highway, to the 2 casinos across the highway. Hmmmm...actually they weren't that close to being a Monorail because they were small round units that held 2 or 4 people and are propelled by an overhead cable. The trips are short and used as a courtesy for its guests.
I guess they are similar to ski lifts. LOL

Nice video! I saw the track a few months before the monorail opened but never got to ride it yet! I'll make it there someday. I love monorails and automated trains, so this is great!

En terme de capacité oui (il existe cependant des monorails plus long, jusqu'à 8 voitures en Chine : ruclips.net/video/KY_CjmjnJ8M/видео.html ). Pour la tracé, c'est plus proche d'un métro (pas d'intersection à gérer).

ErebosSan D'accord merci :) Je me disais ce serait sympa de voir un monorail dans ce genre à la place de certaines lignes trams qui ont du mal à passer aux carrefours (comme le T3 à Paris par exemple), ce serait tellement plus rapide ...XD
