That's what self centered people do. All of his stories were made up, you can tell he just took bits of stories from movies, things he's heard, stories people have told him and he's changed slightly. I can't think of one friend he's named, whilst Jim and Ant were always talking about their childhood friends. The guy is a sociopath without the high IQ, he can barely read a paragraph without struggling, he could never join in any discussion from politics to science, he's a zilch with no interest in anything but himself. He even pretended to be a sports fan, because he thinks that's what men do, watch sports. But whenever someone questioned him on sports he couldn't get deep, one time he said he watched the big game last night and Jim asked him what happened, what was the score, and he began stuttering and said 'I don't know I wasn't paying attention'. The guy never even mentioned drinking, like what the hell did he do for fun? Occasionally play golf, because thats another thing he's saw men doing and wants to appear like them. He only played with people he worked with, he held power over them and could control them. He was desperate to portray himself as someone who didn't get uncomfortable, in reality he would get embarrassed and shameful at the slightest error or mispronunciation, he wouldn't even share basic things like his favorite movies because he couldn't risk being made fun of. So everything he offered was under the guise of a goof or a bit, so he could save face. He was a complete fake, his whole personality was affected, he tried to appear as the cool, laid-back sports loving, roller blading, rebel. He was just a jealous, bitter, boring, unfunny, unlikable, serious, lying, manipulative, angry, abusive, zilch.
I had no idea this was a thing until I started listening to these old O&A videos. There are current east coast comedians who I’ve heard say it too. Sounds so strange.
