      Type r has a posi.

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  3 года назад +1

      @Andres Gonzalez The type R is also difficult to launch, with too much gas/revs you have wheel spin and too little you’re bogging 😠. But it does have an LSD. 👍

    I’m new to the performance myself ..I’m
    Stock 2.0t I was on stage 2 ktuner then I bought the phearable stage 3 but I’m
    Back to stock since I think is too much power for the car on stock components and I don’t want to mess up anything lol

      @@TheLemonFactor love your channel. Oh please report back on the Phearable stage 3. I've been wanting to pull the trigger awhile. Wanna make sure the tune is "safe" first. I wouldn't worry too much on stock components. People are pushing over 400hp and hitting 100k and drag stripping it and all. I wouldn't put even half that abuse on it but I'm confident a pull every now and again will be reliable.

    In this video i understood you said the car felt slower at the beginning and it was because you didn’t change the throttle responsiveness and the VSA control

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  2 года назад +1

      Did you watch the video? Please watch it as it only pertains to the use of advanced VSA (it does not talk about throttle responsiveness as part of quick enables). The “slower” comment is in regards to the car’s additional horsepower and torque breaking the tires traction so easily that they’re spinning, thus having a difficult time getting the power to the ground from a standstill.

    The best way to tell if your car is faster is checking MPH in the quarter mile... I raced the 1/4 mile so many times I always told my friends I could tell more about your car and how fast it is by you telling me the miles per hour that it (your 🚗💨) hits in the 1/4mi rather than the time

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  3 года назад

      A cars trap speed is a good indicator of the power the car is producing 👍

  • @rayk9897
    @rayk9897 3 года назад +1

    I know your doing this in steps but you really need to consider an appointment with Derek Robinson at IMW. That may be coming later but what he can do with KTuner is amazing! I would really like to see you be the first to put the Civic Type R front diff on an automatic. Already been done on a manual but having posi with more aggressive gearing can REALLY lay the power down. Then add on the type R turbo and now your having some fun! But as long as its a one wheel peeler, traction will always be an issue.
