I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing your skin unfiltered and real! THANK YOU SO MUCH! You have no idea how much that means to me. My skin is extremely similar to yours, and I've gotten such bad self esteem from watching other youtubers and instagram, and I've felt so alone thinking my skin is the only one that looks like that. You are amazing! Thank you thank you and much love to you xo
It knocks my self esteem seeing people on RUclips and Instagram with their seemingly perfect skin too. You're not alone in that! It freaks me out sometimes to bare my face on camera (especially SO up close, and in HD) but its comments like yours that make it all worth it for me! xx
Stephanie Lange love you for being real x
Stephanie Lange 😿👨👨👧👦
RegNEl2010 we are all human!! but I totally feel you. my skin is not terrible but it's not great either and I find myself thinking the same exact thing!! then if I'm having a good day I'm able to remind myself it's all filters and if you and I had those same filters, our skin would look that perfect as well! let's all build each other up rather than year each other down. that's why I chose to comment on you comment so that you feel built up. I hope you feel that way? that's my intention any way. 😆
WOW! I'm blown out by this video. It takes a lot of courage to show your flaws on social media where everyone is trying to appear perfect these days. THANK YOU for being sooo real and for reminding us that we should never compare ourselves to others 💘 I'm glad you're back :) I have missed your vids like crazy!
I actually love that i can see your skin in hd ! so raw and i can see that you have the same problems as me ! not like most youtubers who put their camera 20 feet away from their skin smh 😒
+TONGUE TECHNOLOGY it's so nerve racking for me having it so close and personal but if it helps you guys then it's worth it!
TONGUE TECHNOLOGY I agree. Being able too see her skin & showing us her tips is actually what a true beauty guru is about. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
TONGUE TECHNOLOGY ARMYS ARE EVERYWHERE YES💜💜
Emilia Ho No thank you, Spam.
I agree as well. It's so necessary, at least for me and for most of us.
Finally a real RUclips guru who has the same skin as me!!!!! I hate when some of these gurus say they have all these skin "problems". Let's be real, you don't know the struggle.
I love you how you came forward and said pimple crust
Finally a youtuber that has texture like me and actually shows their real skin without smoothing effects and such. Def subbing now :)
Bleu Evon yessss!! So many youtubers or instagramers saying they have acne/acne scars and you can obviously see they have 1 or 2 fading pimples. This video was refreshing and super helpful
How can you say something like that to someone who’s covering the skin with tons of makeup?
Bleu Evon same!!
Bleu Evon sameee
Does anyone know how to actually reduce this horrible texture? I've had it for years and I don't know what to do.
Thank you for showing your actual skin, no one really does and it made me think that my skin texture is much worse and my pores are way larger than most people. I like you have large pores around the nose area, on the tip of the nose and surrounding areas. So I'm over here trying to "fix" my skin with all kinds of skincare products, which granted some problems can use a little help, but my pores aren't just going to disappear into thin air!
I love these tips and tricks videos that you do, especially when it comes to covering skin problems and anything that has to do with hooded eyes, I've gotten such great tips from you! Thanks!👌🏼
100% Agree!😃
BlackThornRose127 yes yes yes to all of this! no one shows their real skin on here and it makes us think we are totally abnormal with our skin problems. wow I'm so happy she showed us her actual skin
Brandy Kackley I don't know if you follow Wayne Goss or not (he's amazing!) but he showed the difference between what his face looks like normally on camera, but as soon as he turned on his camera lighting, mostly the ring light, it hid every imperfection in an instant!
BlackThornRose127 oh yes I love Wayne goss he is one of my top favs right up there with Lisa Eldridge. I totally saw that video I wish more of the beauty community were more honest with themselves and us. that is why I love them so much including Steph because they are honest.
Brandy Kackley Exactly! That's where you get the best tips and you can actually trust their recommendations. It's kind of sad that they're few and far between these days...
I have never seen a beauty blogger whose skin matched mine so precisely even all the problems you described are identical to mine. So, of course, I had to subscribe.
literally same!
What a humble real girl with real honest tips and hints. No frills or bows just how to sort our problem skin out. Love that you showed your natural skin, made me feel human! Xx
I love how this video does NOT mention pore filling primer!
+Ruby Golani hate those things!
What's wrong with pore filling primers ??
Robyn Jackson they clog your pores
Girly Sav wouldn't filling them with foundation clog them too? 😣😣😣
Ashlee Tomlin-Byrne ano like if you clean youre face really good it shoyld be fine
My acne is mostly cause by stress, and I get stressed out when I get a pimple. I'm sure you can imagine how that goes!
Also, I can't just try to wash my skin, because nearly everything irritates my skin! 😒
lavidavi86 I'm pretty sure she's talking about the products
Meggo My Eggo most people with acne touch their face all the time.
Myri Locklear Where are you drawing this conclusion from? A lot of people just have acne.. not because they touch their face or don't wash their face, some people are just acne prone and that's how they are
Alexia Stewart my own experience.... but you're right
This makes me realise people with imperfections can be perfect😍 I feel so much better to having spots after this video xx
"Work with the skin we are given. " ❤
Wow you are so real. NO ONE ever shows their real skin without filters. This is amazing.
You have no idea how important posting this video is. I have textured skin and discolorations worsethan yours and I have tried everything to make my skin look smooth. I had already taken my make up off for the evening but I got so excited I ran in the bathroom and reapplied like you showed. LOL. Its a good start. I will try again tomorrow. Thanks so very much
could you do this video again but with drugstore products
BIG LOL
I love you Stephanie for being so real unlike SO many other gurus. THANK YOU!!!!
Thank you!!!!!! Your skin is my skin... your struggles are my struggles. I've been so discouraged lately because of it. Texture, acne, rosacea, large pores, oiliness, flakiness... holes in the foundation on my nose and cheeks... it's all here. It's awesome to know I'm not the only one with these struggles. Please make more videos about your skin! Subbing so I don't miss out. Again, thank you.❤️
yeah me too😢
Makeupfancy 7 jwsjdjjdiopo9ii8888
Makeupfancy omg me too 😭😭 I had perfect skin until I turned 26
Finally someone who shows how your real skin looks!! Thank you, I love this!
This video was so real, thanks for showing off your skin, pores and all! I also struggle with a lot of the problems you mentioned, except my face is dry rather than oily. This causes a lot more flakiness when I apply foundation so I was looking for a video that could help me with that. Thanks for the tips!
when i don't have foundation or any makeup on my skin doesn't have bumps, but then when i do my makeup i get these little bumps in my t zone but a lot in between my eyebrows. i don't know if it's caused by not exfoliating enough, textured skin, whiteheads, millia or some other things. so many people tell me that its different things but everything i try doesn't help. please help!!!
Emily Walsberg. Try using rose water as a primer, after i wash and moisturize my skin before putting make-up on, i barely soak a cotton pad with rose water and dab it on parts of my face quickly, just lightly sweep it over your skin, anywhere that tends to flake/ look dry, my cheekbones and anywhere i wanna " glow" and highlight . then i let it set and blot off any excess with toilet paper slightly. Then apply foundation as usual and if any, lightly dust translucent powder on any oily parts of your face that get more oily if you sweat. From Colorado so my skin can get super dry if i don't do this. Hope this helps!
Try switching to a bar of face soap that contains natural chamomile and aloe, this was a lifesaver for my sensitive break out prone dry skin. I also use the blue ponds cream for dry skin
emilynicolex
emilynicolexo same problem here, i think it is important to stay hydrated and moistourise the skin before foundation. A primer with blurring effect also helps!
@@ezzyez3442 What kind of rose water do you use? Where to buy it?
The brushing in trick for large pores is AMAZING! I never want to wear foundation because of how glaring my pores look when I do. You've saved my makeup life!
This video was great. You make people like me, who suffers from large pores, bumpy skin and acne scars feel better about myself by knowing that I am not alone. Sometimes I can get so sad, when it feels like everyone else but me has flawless skin, when that's not the case at all! You are beautiful, and a huge inspiration. Keep up the good work, I wish there was more people like you on RUclips :)
The powder puff trick has totally changed my foundation routine! I saw it somewhere else too and have been doing it for a while now. It makes the powder so smooth and really helps with large pores and other skin textures. Way better than a brush for powder!
My skin was like that when I was your age. (Actually, I just realized you're 28, so my skin was like that when I was 24 and under) I'm 32 now.
The terrible texture and huge pores are gone, but have been replaced with permanent acne scars on my cheeks, which I will have until the day I die.
I get hormonal acne during my period, around my chin and under my neck. I will also have that until the day I die, or if I'm lucky, it will eventually go away during menopause.
The only blessing I have from this skin is that I will always look 10 years younger than I actually am.
I've read that microneedling can help reduce or remove bumpy or crater-like acne scars, in case you want to try something to get rid of it
coconut oil and honey will help
@@hrefu coconut oil is terrible for your skin.
How do u get rid of huge pores on ur nose?😭😭
I have like reallyyyyy dry skin around my nose, and i'm soooo glad somebody made a video about it 😀 Thank you babe❤
Hope this helps!
Trying it tomorrow
•Queen • Yess me too
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has a 'HOLEY nose' haha
kind of made me cringe how she 'filled' the pores with foundation though...like just use a primer they're meant to fill in pores so wont be as harsh as filling them with foundation
Primers are just as 'harsh' on the pores as foundation. It's exactly the same
Stephanie Lange especially pore filling Primers. I mean they all fill our pores anyway rofl
Mannie Gregg get rekt
+Stephanie Lange Right? They use the same base ingredients...
Yay! Finally someone who knows you must use a powder puff to apply setting powder! Brushes do not work for this. And... you're so real, thank you from an "older" 😊 viewer who recently started wearing make up again.
Holy shit I'm like literally tearing up right now! I have pretty much the exact same skin issues that you do, and I've been struggling with getting foundation to look nice for YEARS!!! Thank you!!!
Such a beautiful, honest Aussie girl. You are such an inspiration to those of us with "real" skin issues. 😚
Jo Bowley are there any not beautiful Aussie girls? I mean I literally have never seen one. Everyone’s beautiful down there
This smokey eye is perfection 💕
Jenny Bartz I know, right??? hopefully she shows us how to do this look... *hint hint Steph* lol
Yes, love the eye look.
Stephanie Lange can you do a foundation tutorial for people, like myself, who have cystic acne pitted scars. I have a few really deep ones. I feel makeup creates shadows so they loon worse, but my skin needs foundation to even out the redness. please help! your tips have seriously helpef my son look better. I just don't know how to work with the pitted scars.
Jenny Bartz ask ur Doctor to prescribe Retinol A.. that will be ur miracle..
where is it? pleeease
I've been watching RUclips makeup tutorials for years and yours is the only one that actually perfectly matched my skin type. Thanks for sharing! It's the first video to make a difference in my makeup :)
I am so grateful you used no filters because most make up tutorial youtubers use them and it has me feeling like they're always going to be flawless and I'm always going to be the ugly duckling, but considering I think of you as gorgeous and we have similar skin, it has really made my day!
First wooo I have lumpy skin I'm glad I'm not the only one
Yayyy!!! Hope this helps! x
Stephanie Lange I apply a lot of foundation at once and my pores are so noticeable I'm definitely going to try less foundation and go in with a small brush on my pores
Yep work with a tiny bit at a time instead of lots at one go! x
Thank god your back! I love the fact that you show us the real you! Thankyou Stephanie! 😚
Thank you for such a great tutorial, iv struggled with acne, rosacea and oily skin since my teens. Sometimes you feel like the only person in the world with such awful skin but you're promoting girls and women to embrace what they have and ways to feel confident about your skin. You are a breath of fresh air being so honest and showing everyone your skin has made me feel like I should be more excepting of mine and not feel so self conscious about it. Can't wait for your next one already 😃x
Omg the tip of the brush on the side of the nose is genius! I have always had issues with dry skin and large pores around that part of my nose, and I can never fit my makeup sponge into that little crevice so it ends up looking patchy and cakey! Thank you so much for showing your skin and being so honest, it's so refreshing. You're such a lovely breath of fresh air. Thank you again!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING A CLOSE UP FOUNDATION ROUTINE!!! I'm always so discouraged when doing my foundation because it looks a little textured and not smooth like all these beauty bloggers. I finally realized, my skin looks smooth from a distance but not up close so surely theirs does to? THANK YOU
I also had bad rosaceea breakouts. I've tried all the cosmetics and dermatocosmetics, but nothing made it better. Until one day when I just lost my faith in all beauty products. So I eneded up throwing away ALL my creams, tonics, rosaceea lotions, make up remover, etc. The only thing I accepted to put on my face was the only things I Really needed: makeup and just organic argan oil in the night before bed so I can mosturize my dry skin. After a while ( several months) it completly calmed down. At the moment I'm not even wearing any makeup anymore, which made my skin even calmer and less red. The conclusion is: it's all a vicious circle. Every beauty product no matter how expansive and how delicate it was, it had chemicals. And my face was getting red and making small pimples under the skin, because it didn't handle all the chemicals, it reacted like to an allergy. And it didn't had anything to do with what I ate. I realise the redness was because of local factors. I would never dream before to have such a calm and ok skin on my face. Of course it's not white porcelain, it will never be. But it got me rid of all the problems that rosaceea brings. So my advice is to go clean on your face: no cream, no lotion, nothing at all. Just organic argan oil that you buy from the store with natural products. You can use it as makeup remover too. Then rinse with a lot of water. I wish someone would have told me sooner.
All this cosmetics and products that even your doctor gives you it's very superficial, it's not meant to really stop your rosaceea. Stop putting chemicals on your skin, because they are the ones that are making the roscaeea worse.
I think you could be onto something here love! X
Also, I know how important exfoliating is for this type of skin. So don't go putting chemicals on your face for this reason either. Exfoliate 1 or 2/ week with a natural mixture, that you personally can garantee is natural. And that can happen only with organic simple food ingredients.
Do a mixture of:
- 1 spoon of sodium bicarbonate ( this will reglate your skin pH)
- 1 spoon of cornmeal ( this will be the real exfoliater)
- 1 spoon of oat bran ( this will hidratate while exfoliating)
Rub this on your face to remove any dry patches, I do this especially where I have dark spots, on the nose skin, etc. Rinse very well with water.
Take into consideration to do this only before going to bed because the skin will get red. The next morning you will wake up and have a wonderful clean and silk face. The effect last 1 or 2 days after the treatment, but it does clean your face. Do not be tempted to exfoliate more than 1 or maximum maximum 2 / week.
Another advice: try to reduce any consuption of inflamatory foods. Try to eat/ drink as little as possible spicy foods and lower the coffee drinking. I noticed that everyone tells me how white and less red my skin is becoming especially after I do some days of coffeine break. I can't cut coffee permanently from my diet because it is healthy and it's good for low blood pressure. But I try to drink it maybe once every 4 days, or just in the weekend, as a treat. I didn't cut spicy food permanently from my diet, but I also keep it as a treat, for days when I actually crave it.
Also, try to not stay too much in the sun. But in Ireland I think the sun is so much gentle with your skin, you don't have to worry :)
I hope this will help you! All this advices I wrote above helped me sooo much. I got rid of my roscaeea 90% I will say. My skin is not perfect white, but I'm finally very happy with it! I can wear no makeup and not look bad! Such a great feeling!
Bianca Condruz Rough scrubs actually damage the top layer of the skin. And you should definetely not put baking soda on your skin 🤤
Bianca Condruz Is their only 1 type of Argon oil? I currently use it for my hair, can I use the same on my face too or is there an actual face oil? Maybe thinner or something? What about a vit C or E oil, hv u tried either & did those not work? Thx for any feedback. I’m currently trying to find something lighter & btr than lotion or even the serum I use that’s super pricey.
You're advices are real and true.thank you so much for advicing and directing true path for others it's a very good human feature
It's really uplifting to know that everyone has similar issues when it comes to skin. You aren't alone 😜 You're skin is GORGEOUS
Aw thank you! Sometimes I think my skin is horrible! But at the end of the day it's just skin, it doesn't really matter. x
Thank you so much for this! My skin is very textured - visible pores, active acne, discoloration/acne marks AND deep pockmarks. I can't wait to try this out! I've been using a buffing brush prior to this because it applies foundation a little faster than sponges but I've never thought it could the cause of the emphasis on the texture of my skin!
I really admire how confident you are and that you can show your face with no make up on in public! It makes it so much easier to see that these tricks really do work and are not just empty yapping :) Thank you so much, your videos help me out quite often and I think you make every person with skin issues much more confident in themselves! Please keep on making these kind of videos and please stay they way you are!
Love this 💕 I love realistic makeup tutorials! Thanks for being human and showing tips on how to deal with real issues on real faces 😘
I have to sub to you now that you've stopped using a filter. I have a lot of appreciation for you, most beauty gurus use filters and it makes me sad. love this video tho
I've never used filter. I don't even know if it's possible on RUclips. x
Stephanie Lange it is possible! Some RUclipsrs have been called out for doing it. Wayne Goss made a video about it a lil bit ago. So wrong!
Love your videos! Xx
Stephanie Lange it's a filter you have to actually purchase as a separate unit to mount on your camera lens.
I like it
Ehhhh... I really think she does have a filter over her camera or used a video editer filter on her computer... you don't go from bumpy flaky skin up close even after all the steps she took to flawless silky smooth skin when she has the eye makeup on. That's what a filter does, and yes RUclipsrs will deny deny deny to the death
I love how you don't use photoshop and you show the real, unmasked you. You're perfect and such a lovely person 💗
I have recently been so ill, then developed an severe allergy to plastics, my skin has been so bad and so sore. Today for the first time in months I decided to wear make up only to see parts of dry skin, flaky powder, ended up in tears as am tired of feeling a mess and trying to hide or avoid human contact. Thank you so much for your video and especially the message at the end xx
So nice to have you back! it's refreshing to see someone being so open about their actual skin, I always thought my skin was so much worst than everyone else's. Your content just keeps getting better. Much love from Brazil! xx
THANK YOU
I really like seeing products used on skin that has redness and large pores like this. I skip a lot of tutorials because most girls i see on social media don't really have problematic skin. I have lots of redness so I can't make out how their routine would look on me. Thank you for sharing!
I have badly textured skin and honestly its something ive always been really insecure over but its okay because so many people deal with this and we got the skin we got. Thankyou for showing it raw, it can be such a struggle having large pores 😭 super helpful video girl ! 💜
So glad that you're back
Princess C That admits it and shows it anyway....
Awww you're so awesome! And gorgeous!! I love how you explained the fact that no one has perfect skin!! So true!!
thank you for being real about the struggles that some of us face and how to fix them. I thought that there was no hope for me.
I really appreciate how real and practical your videos are- more makeup gurus on RUclips should take inspiration from you, thank you!!
I love your positive last words!
Just a note: this won't work as well for older skin (30s & over). Matte foundations really accentuate wrinkles and make older skin look dry and flakey.
I agree with a lot of the comments that mention that you actually show your skin! No filters or whatever to cover up. It makes you seem very genuine, and you definitely stand out from many other youtubers ( I watch A LOT of youtube lol)
You're awesome!!:))
Thanks for being so honest and showing your pores! You earned my trust! I see people do these videos and they really don't show their pores and they say products work so great then I try them and I don't look half as good as they do and it's because they don't have a good camera shot like you do! I know it's not how I'm applying the product it's just that nothin will ever be perfect for pores but you have the best advice on minimizing them and were honest that it won't make them completely disappear!!! You are awesome! Thank you! Love your eye shadows too!
yessss, finally, i saw this on your snapchat and i was so excited
+Maria Estêvão yay!!! ❤❤
Stephanie Lange I need your earrings in my life! From where did you get them?
Thank you for finally being a real human being that shows real imperfect skin with real pores!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Coming back to this video years later because it’s helped me so much!! Pimple crust is so real and I’ve struggled with acne my whole life, and I will always be thankful for how straightforward and unfiltered this video is!!!
I love how you show your true skin. No filters. I love this!
this is the best tutorial. finally a RUclipsr with the exact same skin as mine!! thank you Stephanie this was so helpful!!!!!!
I love videos like these! Thank you for your amazing tips, Stephanie
+All Things Anisa thanks for watching beautiful!❤
I dont think you people realize how hard it is to actually show your real skin to millions of people (if you struggle with your skin)... i hate seeing "now im subbing because you showed your real skin" like... she was always real. It is just hard to show a million people something you are so worried about. Shes a beautiful person i love her attitude thats why i subbed.
BRAVO!! for the last part message! You can never compare your skin to instagrammers or youtubes who use special cameras and special lightening. Lots of people getting frustrated cuz of that image of perfection they want to show.
Bless you!!! As an older woman, I struggle with coverage and self esteem. 😂 I feel so much better now.
What's the reasoning behind not using a pore filling primer? Is it because they can break you out or because you don't think they work? Love these kinds of videos btw!
Kaitlyn DiPaolo I have sensitive, oily, rosacea skin and I really like the Hourglass primer. Only one that seems to actually make my big ass pores look smaller. xD
Kaitlyn DiPaolo ir can clog your pores and make your acne worse using it for special occasions is fine but as and everyday primer is better if you don't
Omg I have your skin type. I never had pores but now I have them
On my nose along with black heads yuck
Personally primers that say "shine free" or "pore filling" ironically do the exact opposite every time lol majority of primers don't work for me. In other comment I saw she said primers don't work for her so probably the same reason as me :)
so would it be better not to use a primer at all? I don't have her moisturizing spray so would I just use toner and like regular facial moisturizer?
I would LOOOVE as many textured skin tips video's as you can make cuz I have a ton of bad acne scars and I just can not figure out how to make my face look decent no matter what I do!!!! I can't WAIT to try what you did in THIS video, though, thank you SOOO MUCH, girl!!!!
This is the first video I've watched of yours and I appreciate how you weren't afraid to zoom in that close to really show us how to apply foundation on problem areas.
Sooo humble, gorgeous and smart....!!
These tips are so helpful!😚 Can you maybe make a video about rosacea? Cause my cheeks, nose and chin are always 'red'. And when when I use green concealer and full coverage foundation, it looks very cakey. Do you have any tips for that?
You’re the first person that I’ve came across with skin like me, I don’t get a ton of acne but even without acne my skin still doesn’t look clear, so glad I found this!!
Thank you for your honesty and your bravery for being so raw and up close and personal!! Gives me so much confidence knowing I’m not alone. Btw you are STUNNING!!!
Now for those of us who are not rich...what about drug store makeup...
JS M Fit me foundation is good
yesss! Fit Me from Maybelline is my favorite. The whole FIT ME line is wonderful!!
This foundation is only like $55. I'm sorry, but being able to buy something that cheap does NOT make you rich.
You don't know what rich is.
JS M i mix together loreal pro matte and loreal total cover foundation and it is beyond perfect for me. I also use nyx shine killer primer
Kelsy Lysek thank you I'm going to try it!!!!!!!!!! Tysm ♡♡♡♡♡
Could you share the lipstick you are wearing? They look great, didn't find it in description box
Thank you so much for the comments at the end of your video. I have 2 teenage girls that try so hard to make their skin look as flawless as what they see online. It's important that they receive they hear this information from someone young and beautiful as yourself.
You're awesome for being positive and REAL about people having realistic expectations of their skin. ❤️👊
What lipstick are you wearing?!? And also, your eye makeup is insanely beautiful.
I miss your videos, thank you!
Love the fact you said nobodys face and make up arent always perfect because some of us do go thru so much skin texture such as acne and just odd non smooth surface, i think your video was awesome
I think it's wonderful that u talked about not comparing your skin to anyone else's! That is sooooo important for especially young girls that think that the people they see with tons of makeup or whatever is real and they shouldn't compare themselves! These young girls don't realize that a lot of it is basically "smoke and mirrors" becuz no one is that perfect and I appreciate u talking about that! These young girls today have a lot of pressure to have the perfect lips or eyebrows or contour and it's all very pretty but they also need to realize that natural beauty is important too! So thank u for that! You are beautiful with or without makeup because you are beautiful on the inside! :)
this is so detailed, real and honest! omg. Thank you so much! You're amazing!
your videos are really helpful!
oh no way!! seriously I would have NEVER guessed you had large pores!! I have large pores on the cheek area by my nose (like undereye area??) my foundation cakes or gets muggy in that spot SOOOOO quickly!! i neeed to try this!! THANKS MUCH
I have never wore makeup as always had good skin but since having my second son my skin has change and gone really bad and open pores. Now I need to learn how to cover and your honesty on your vids (just watched 3) is amazing glad to find an honest RUclips. Now I need to learn how to apply makeup 👄
I have large pores 😫 how can you make them smaller ? Xx ❤
niki91389 you can't but you can use a pore filler to help them appear smaller.
niki91389 You can't, pores aren't muscles, they don't get larger and smaller. You can use a pore filler and then cover it up with foundation and that looks more natural than packing your pores with foundation.
niki91389 So Mario Badescu makes a product called Silver Powder that I use after a face mask and it does shrink your pores temporarily. I do it every couple of days. I also use it on my fiancé who has the biggest pores I've ever seen and it closes them right up like magic lol. But like I said, it only lasts a few days.
(Jen) yes you can. A fractional laser procedure can reduce your poors a lot.
niki91389 Get a mini fraxel! It's a laser treatment but it helps so much. You usually need 2-3 sessions (depending on your skin) and then after that, you can maintain with one every year or longer, depending on your skin. There are no topical products that actually shrink pores but you can buy a glycolic acid wash (20-30%) that will clear debris from the follicles, resulting in the look of smaller pores. Both help with texture and hyper-pigmentation, as well. Otherwise, just keep your skin really clean, use a witch hazel toner, and moisturize with an oil free moisturizer. Don't over wash or over exfoliate, as that will cause your skin to produce more oil, resulting in the look of larger pores.
Thanks for the video!! Great tips. 😻😻
Thank you! xx
Stephanie Lange 😻😻
Wow the first make up artist who has the same skin as me! No one has oily, dry, acne prone, red skin! Thank thank thank you. Make more videos like this. Makeup for texture skin can be so hard .
FINALLY A RUclipsR WHO ALSO HAS ROSACEA!! I CAN NEVER COVER IT NO MATTER WHAT I NEVER CAN AND MY OIL REMOVES IT ALL!!! FOLLOWING THIS FOR DEFINITELY! thank you!!!
You know what?
I love you.
Thank you.
What color lipstick are u Wearing?? Pretty
Finally, a real natural beauty and so refreshing to see a normal person with a normal skin, instead of the perfect poreless beauties out there. Thank u
Also, I’d like to say, you’re a bonafide GENIUS when it comes to cosmetic application that’s not run of the mill. You literally help MILLIONS of us with problematic issues, and that, m’dear, is a priceless treasure.
I like to see the textured skin videos. Thanks
I'd love to see more videos like this one. Thanks!❤️
trust me .. your skin is beautiful with all what you think of as flaws.. this concept of flawlessness is all in your mind.. there are no standards for beauty.. its comes in all shapes..colours..tones and textures .. i am an artist and i know what im talking about ♡
LIke the comment below, thank you for not being "fake"--for showing REAL solutions/techiquies to problem skin! I'm so sick of tutorials talking about "hiding pores primers on perfect skin tell me nothing. thank you! Especially loved the techinque with the smaller brush around the nose--best tequinque ive seen in years!
you look exactly like Perrie Edwards from shout out to my ex music video.
why she doesn't use a primer to fill those large pores? Why only a tarte spray?
Lena Fischer couldn't agree more. honestly, it's all about how to pile on make-up when there are so many steps that can help your skin look better before you even start with foundation. Unsubbing.
Ridiculous reason to unsub. I don't like primers and they don't work for me. Bye! 👋
Lena Fischer primer doesn't work for everyone, you do realise we all have different skin types and some products don't work well over others. Stupid reason to unsub someone. Must be amazing to have all the answers 😒
Stephanie Lange I thought I was the only one where primers don't work ugh ily
Stephanie Lange yeah primers with silicone or most products that have silicone as well actually stretch the pore and make it larger by filling and stuffing it
Thank you for being and staying real. I have multi-problematic skin like yours along with a lot of deep scaring and dark patches around my lips and under my chin and my skin is super ultra dry despite of the fact I keep it clean and moisturise it all the time with all kinds of organic oils.
This video was really helpful to teach me proper stroking and patting. Thank you.
We saw it advertised on TV and thought, "Why not try it?" So my sister, my daughter, and I all got one. I'm post-menopausal and have some coarse, black (and now some white) whiskers on my chin and upper lip. Flawless takes care of them so nicely. I found I can use a little pressure when using it, and it doesn't hurt at all. There is no redness after use, no worry about nicks, nothing. And I have stopped that painful plucking, too! Now, I know the ads show women using it on their faces, but (ahem) I tried it on my arm-pits (because when you get old, they tend to wrinkle and are a bit difficult to shave using a regular razor) and it worked beautifully! Then I got daring and used it on my legs. Same results! The only thing you have to do is make sure you wash and dry before you use it, and then take the little cap off and clean out the little reservoir on top each time. I blow through the cap to remove any little hairs that might have stuck there, but generally there is nothing in the cap to worry about. So yeah, it works just like they say it does!
