There's better ways of handling things in life, or else schools and society will only get worse.

    • @udontevenwannaknowbruv
      @udontevenwannaknowbruv Месяц назад +14

      @@mistypedhi I don’t know about that… To me it looks like she’s always had that wide square jawline? It was just less noticeable because her hair was very blonde back then. It might also be the combination of gradually losing cheek fat as she’s gotten older + the way her make up artist emphasises her cheekbones with make up. Because if you look up no-make up pics, her cheeks look a lot flatter which makes her jawline stand out less in comparison. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if she did actually do some cosmetic surgery…
      When she had blonde hair about a year ago, her face looked much softer. The iconic strong eye make up and dark hair truly emphasises her strongest features imo, it suits her the best.

      To me it’s just proof that bullies just aim to make fun of people. It’s not even personal. They themselves would be hurt by being made fun of their appearance so they try to point something out in others. The only way you win is by not caring what other people think because a bully’s main goal is your reaction and to make you feel insecure about who you really are. They don’t want you to feel comfortable in your own skin, because they don’t feel comfortable in theirs. That’s why they wear a mask and make fun of others to distract themselves from their own critical thoughts and also to make sure they attack others because they are paranoid someone will attack them first.

Instead, simple, subtle makeup brings out their features more. I’ve always wondered why I actually look more masculine the more makeup I wore, and more feminine with less makeup. I'm a very androgynous-looking woman. I hardly have much of a chest, I've got broad, toned shoulders and my adams apple is just as prominent/noticeable as a males would be. A lot of guys have told me I have the deepest voice in a woman they've ever heard. Not to mention, my fashion-style is very tomboyish and punk-y. I used to be fairly insecure about it, but not because I felt "Non-feminine" but more-so because I just didn't feel like a woman very much in-general, and it hurt.
    Eventually, though, you learn to love those parts of you. You learn to love yourself. I wish I could explain how I changed my view on myself, it was sort of just like a progressive change after I started to think more positively about my features. Nobody is ugly. Ugliness is objective, everyone finds *something* ugly, but not every one person can *agree* on what's ugly. Example; a lot of the guys I've had crushes on have been called "Generally unattractive" though obviously I do not think the same.
    You're capable of being loved, and you're capable of loving yourself. It can be a hard, bumpy journey, but it is one that is totally worth it. Everybody is beautiful in some shape or form!

      the study of anthropology + pathology after centuries of examining bones + bodies defined it. Whether or not the traits are aesthetically pleasing is an irrelevant argument because no one’s definition of beauty is exactly the same. But the facts are that certain traits are defined as masculine or feminine based on the fact that thousands of remains have shown consistent findings in female + male specimens when examined that are predictably found in either phenotype of an XX or XY chromosome. There shouldn’t be attached a label of beautiful or not to either one, it’s not a bad thing or a good thing, it’s just the way it is.

But now I’m in my 50’s that strong bone structure has been a blessing as I’m far less saggy and jowly than my more feminine counterparts. I'm trans, not offended in anyway. Saying it in this way is fine because its a quote. Very different from using the word and aiming it at someone. Also Steph i want to say thank you, you have helped me so much to recognise the difference between looking like a woman and looking like the beauty standard. To fully realise that all women are different and look beautifully unique has helped me manage my dysphoria and stop picking at myself about having more masculine features and accept myself without the need for facial feminisation surgeries. including the jaw surgery you mention, as well as forehead contoring.
    Also this "So let's let us masculine faced girlies live, eh? WITHOUT pressuring us to change our features to look 'softer' and more 'feminine', because having some typically masculine features does NOT take away from your femininity." LOVE THIS!!!

Beauty standards keep changing all the time, it's best to love our faces and ourselves wholeheartedly in a society that keep telling us we are "ugly" in order to sell products.
