Reason 12 Beat Cook Up Видеоклипы
I wouldn’t mind if reason had collaboration feature where we could all make beats together , like say five of us at a time could be in a session that one of us hosts
A few things for me that Reason need to do.
1. I spend lots of time in the piano roll. I'd love a an update to the piano roll in Reason. That is one of the main reasons I moved to Ableton. Especially the new Ableton update has amazing MIDI editing features.
2. A quality of life update to just make Reason's piano roll zoom in and out with pinching with trackpad in macOS.
3. Add MIDI through/routing so that we can use VSTs like Scaler that manipulate midi.
4. I know routing is amazing, but they could add "lite routing" to quickly just route some things, for example, sidechaining. It can be annoying to route lets say 10 tracks to a sidechain in reason. Kicks down my worfklow flow.
Anyway, they gave us Reason rack to bypass all these. But, I would've loved to have kept it as my main DAW.
If the plugin can work in anyone else's DAW, maybe Reason studios should just build a really basic daw with a better piano roll from scratch and have the plugin for it ! So the plugin is used as a plugin for a new basic Reason DAW.
Stem separation in mimic 💯💯💯🤯🔥
Thank you 🙏 Mr. Chits Reed for imparting this knowledge to us I’ve used Reason since version 1 and even before Reason there was REBIRTH and flipping the rack and doing complex routing is a great 👍 part of utilizing Reason especially for SOUND DESIGN but thanks 🙏 to you once again for showing us how to setup your Reason rack properly for mixing and mastering Reason is a very intuitive program and product where you have to put in work for your sound quality it is a very powerful program and DAW and possibilities are endless.
I started my "DAW journey" with Cubasis VST (2002) than Cubase LE than Live and finally someone show me Reason. It was AD 2005/2006 and after those all years - I changed my studio serveral times and now im finally ready to stay only with Reason and Maschine. Maybe wierd duo but works for me. Reason is very friendly nad very inspirational.
Super cool. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾
great vid Chris, and great appearance on the 30th bday podcast! personally
i can't live without my 88 key hammer action especially when playing various pianos live or full length of beat/song when recording
New to Reason coming from Bitwig. Reason is the best Thing i ever tried. BW is fire too but Reason is also more an Instrument and very very clever. V13 will be wild and worldchanging imo.
Long time no see oh my god keep them vibes coming bro Reason 13 reason gang baby !!!!!
Great video as always! The problem is that Reason seems to have refused to make any change in the DAW and is focused on the creation of instrunents and racks oriented to be used in other DAWs (Ableton, Logic, etc.) 🤷🏻♂️
Things the Rack plugin needs:
The ability to add 3rd party vsts when used as a plugin inside another DAW, then you can build combinators to be shared across DAWS that use any vsts as well as Reason devices.
Waves have a similar device, so do DDMF, its called metaplugin. You can then automate 3rd party vsts through macro controls in the rack plugin.
I felt the same about not having to go outside of the reason eco system and spend more $. Then 1 day I bought the entire plugin alliance bundle. No more plugins needed now.
Reason needs 1.) Reason midi Keyboard with 16 Pads 2.) 16 Pad control for drums 3.) groups chords Theory midi 4.) Show Key Notes on the Keys edited screen.. 5.) Reason Interface 4- 5 channels
Yes absolutely
They did an interface. It looked cool, but failed to take off.
@@d_s_ctube I remember that interface. Kinda bulky
As far as a Reason controller, the Nektar Panorama series may not be exclusively for Reason but it does map the best out the few I've used . The transport works perfectly as well as the knobs and sliders being able to surface lock to the mixer so you can put the mouse down for a good chunk of things.
true , but reason control will be NICE
They definitely need to chance of sequencer. Should automatically be able to punch in record like Protocols and Logic can
Reason 13 need a remote control app asap.. the old one is not available anymore😢
Reason really needs to update all the old Racks Redrum, NNXT, NN19 Etc. ... Stems and New Kong Features! Update the Sequencer
A 16 channel mixer... etc...
What's up from atlanta I love reasons
Shout out to Atlanta!

I hope the rack plugin gets a lot more attention than the standalone DAW. As a standalone DAW i can never see people really on a pro level finalising projects in Reason. I can see set ups such as:
Reason > Logic
Reason > Pro Tools
Reason > Cubase
I can never see a day where someone who is making massive billboard chart topping music, Taylor swift, Rhianna's, Eminem level Using Reason as the DAW you actually finalise a mix in, instead of Pro tools or Logic, i just cant see it ever being that way.
So i see Reason as more a toolset that is used then you end up in a DAW like Logic or Pro tools. Maybe I'm wrong and 13 changes the game, but the team of coders is small, i cant see too many massive DAW changes.
Reason 13 will be more evolution than revolution.
I hope the rack plugin advances the ability to use the toolset, The DAW as a standalone i hope doesnt cloud the advancing Plugin version, i hope the 50% of time they spend on the DAW to make a few changes doesnt hinder the massive time they could spend making the rack plugin, extremely brilliant.
Are you teasing 😈 us brother ❤
We just speculating! Thanks for coming through!
Reason 13 just announced.. No MPE or proper vst midi implementation
Hello Chris, is there a way to print sheet music with reason?
Not with Reason as is but probably could take the midi and upload to a third party application.
Thanks for the reply.
Who seen the reason 13 announcement, i wont be bothering for sure
Did a live stream on it
RockWilder uses Reasons
ken Lewis got rid of his actual SSL console for the new SSL controllers.... keep in mind his main DAW is pro tools. For controlling REASON FULLY i have not found anything better than the X-TOUCH and Extenders by Behringer. in the last 24 years. it's nearly flawless without any user programming
Nektar works like a charm. I wouldnt buy M Audio ever again. Nektar has the Reason mode and everything works. Patch selection, transport. Everything
Reason has a daw controller I thought….Nektar
The codebase of reason is obviously way too broken to add such massive amounts of features without a complete rewrite or a significant change in their pricing policy.
they said they did that already with reason 12...i simply want vst to vst midi....to be able to us vsts like scaler....once reason does that it can be come my main daw
Why don't they sell single serving instruments as plugins for other DAW's? Redrum and Malstrom are excellent, but the only way for other DAW users to get them is to buy Reason or +.
Hmm never thought of that. Or at least the Reason Rack as a plug in without needing reason + that is a good suggestion
