R4T thanks for carrying these. Just ordered. Had been following the thread on TW. Looks like a relatively easy install. And THANK YOU for honoring a first responders discount. Much appreciated!
Thought I'd point out a good use for that b10mm bolt in the A pillar. A replacement aftermarket strap for a 5th Gen 4Runner works well in that spot. Just cut a small slit in the ABS cover (very soft plasitc) and it slides right through. Beats grabbing the door frame.
Would be cool to put them under seats to shine on the back floor. I find that my meso map lights light up the footwell really well already, but it's always dark when my kid looses something in the back.
@@Runnin4Tacos yes thank you. I suppose I should have looked before saying something. It just wasn't mentioned in the video. Love what you guys do. Thank you for all your hard work
@@Runnin4Tacos LOL thought so, hard to get good interior lighting when your half blind and need to read something. Always keep a flashlight in the armrest!!
QUESTION: I use my vehicle at times for work and shut off the dome light entering and while sitting in the car. Will this have an effect on the floor lights? In addition, can u leave the floor mat lights on without the dome light?
No, but a 5th generation 4Runner kit is in development and will be available soon! We anticipate that R4T will have these as an option when they are ready.
Hey! I designed this wire harness for VLEDS. It won’t work on the 3rd Gen, but we just made a prototype for the 2nd Gen and plan to release a kit later this year.
Hello, here is the link for the 2nd gen footwell kit. runnin4tacos.com/products/copy-of-vleds-dual-output-front-footwell-kit-toyota-tacoma-2016?_pos=7&_sid=a7c98eeff&_ss=r
Hi Vinh -- I designed the harness for these kits. The lights will switch to a very dim/ambient setting when you are driving with your headlights on, or whenever your parking lights are on!
Just for good practice, I have learned to try out electrical components before putting the panels and zip ties back on. I will be getting these 👍🏻

Of course! Support who we support!

This will be an excellent lighting mod. Super dope and can't wait to get this installed.
🥳
mine are on the way!

Thanks for all the info! TacoTwonz 4RunnerEver! Miss the name.

If you goto the website (link they provided) it looks like you can add more lights to have them light up the rear footwell
They do sell a rear lighting kit as well .
We sell the rear kit add-on kit as well, like Keith JJDiablo mentioned

Love this upgrade, I also want more lighting on top, I don't have a moonroof so any ideas up there would be awesome! Thanks for the vid!
😁

@@scooty67 oops sorry I totally missed the question. I don't have a moon roof either but you have map lights right?
@@Runnin4Tacos YES, Just not the best light.
@@scooty67 look at the ME-SO Customs map lights, it'll changed your mind
Need those for the 5th Gen 4Runner!
Soon
Thank you for the video. Do these lights come on if the dome light is manually shut off?
That's pretty slick 👍👍 is there a way to change the light under the radio above the storage bin?
I have seen some posts of people doing it buried somewhere in Tacomaworld.
For those interested, I posted a video in my channel showing a cheap hack on how to change the colors of your VLED footwell lights.
Can’t wait for the 2nd Gen kit to come out! Just want to confirm, do they also turn on when you turn your dome light to the On position?
yes they do. they turn on with the dome lights 👍🏼
Your truck is awesome 😎
Thanks

This won't have any affect on the lights. The lights will stay on with the dome
👍🏽 nice
Oh and What floor mats are those?? Lol
Look like WeatherTech to me.
Not weathertech. Look like smart liners, but maybe a previous generation when they had a different name
Meso needs to make them red and white!!!
honest question, why would you need/want footwell lighting?
I have the meso dual color map and dome light. Trying to figure out what color temp would best match the white meso
When will you restock on anytime back up camera kit for 2021 tacoma?
You gonna do a 3rd Gen Tundra kit? (Please)
Nice video. What kind of floormats are those?
Some cheapo ones. Going to switch soon
Is the wire harness adapter compatible in the 5th gen 4runner? Would I run into any trouble trying this kit on the 4runner? Thanks!
No, but a 5th generation 4Runner kit is in development and will be available soon! We anticipate that R4T will have these as an option when they are ready.
Soon! Like VLEDS mentioned 😁
Is this also compatible with the 5th gen 4Runner (2012) model?
No sir but we'll have a kit available soon
They make this for the 4runner?
Do you have any videos on Rav4 mods or how to change my interior lights out to LED'S?
We do. You should be able to search our channel
No way I'm doing even 1/4th of that for footwell lights lol. I am glad that you are pleased w them, because that is all that matters.
Will this work in a 2nd gen? Support RUMBLE!
