There is a terrific fishing hole on the way back out by the Marine Base and going the highway of Sonora to your right or your left there is cattle stocks and below that there's a stream that is the most phenomenal stream to catch 3 lb rainbows

Oh wow, no kidding. That area is so pretty. I want to try fishing there one of the next times I’m out that way.

@@IanMartinExploration I loved watching this video. I discovered Bridgeport as a young Marine years ago and I visit a few times each year.

Most of the land is owned by the LA water district because Owen's Valley water is sent to LA. That keeps development from happening. The Dressler pioneer ranching family from Carson Valley, Nevada owns land all along the eastern Sierra including around Bridgeport, or used to.

Wasn't it contested? Before Nevada became a state?

@@scaryhenski without a doubt, lived in Stonington for a number of years….One good thing your Bridgeport is noted for is the milling machine.😉

@@NBZW That’s about it because Bridgeport, Connecticut is really ghetto, I grew up in the West End of Bridgeport and it wasn’t a pretty sight growing up there.

Stunning, informative video but you don’t need to be in so many frames IMO.
