Hey there,..I got the 10'6" TI Muskie rod about 3 months ago, and it's quite a powerful rod, to say the least,... it's comparable to my Penn Batallion ll 11' surf casting rod It's just as stiff and got 150 yards. @ the beach w/3oz.bucktail... didn't expect this from a muskie rod.. 🤙😎👍

@jaaron2834 Yeah, it really is robust. TI nailed the build. Glad to know you are liking it, also. 🤙🏼

@@InTheSpread Yes,.. very much like an old school heaver but scaled down just a bit .... I do like having a longer butt section like my surf rods because I pull more on butt than I push on fore grip,... so I can use the entire bend of rod which feels more efficient than pushing the fore grip ,.. plus,.. it's less effort casting either side or overhead casting ... I'm 63 ... don't need to work any harder ...lol 🤣

Is the length an issue? I fish 8’6” rods tops for casting as a max as a bank fisherman. Longer is not that handy for me so I am curious about your experiences

A longer rod gives me more leverage when casting and working a bait and makes figure 8s much easier. But it's mostly about the leverage.
