Aren’t they incredible - and totally addictive! I’m so glad you love them too. Hedi Kyle is a magician, isn’t she? I’d love to see your bookbinding sometime! Thanks for the kind note!
@@123craftygal, normally I watch the Yasutomo FB live with Karen, but I was in class yesterday and missed it. She was so kind to mention my video - and you were so kind to draw my attention to it this morning. Thanks so much. That Hedi Kyle - what a paper wizard1
I just learned this from your video and have made 12 of these and can't stop making them! I love this pocket envelope structure for all the reasons you mention at the beginning. It is elegant, satisfying and fun to make. Thank you!
I am so glad you are enjoying Hedi Kyle’s wonderful creation - she is such a genius! You are welcome for the video. Pure pleasure to share such a versatile paper art piece!
Hello again, from the U.K. I’m in bed again - this time I’m not awaiting morning tea, but should be settling down for the night ready for another day’s gardening tomorrow. However, I couldn’t wait any longer to try your folded book with pockets ! It wasn’t easy trying to do accurate folds balancing on a patchwork quilt, but perseverance won out and I did it ! (Should I wake in the night, I’ll not make myself a cup of tea - I’ll make another pocket book or two !).
OMGoodness! How elegant is this! It's just amazing! I have Hedi's book and must it admit (being a visual learner) I needed this video to follow the directions in her book! I'm sooooooooo EXCITED! Finding your video and following your instructions have made my day! 😁💕
This was a most AMAZING video....please make more like this one ...I just loved it ....have done a mass making of 25 little ones ...thank you for sharing so enjoyed it

I LOVE this! Do you think it would stand up to being open and closed quite a bit? Either way I'm making a few of these. I just adore the pockets and how clever this is!!
Thanks for the video! It is a very clever folded object. What kind of paper did you use for the outside? Do you think one could make this out of KrafTex?

It can be quite sturdy if you make it with the right paper - I wonder how Tyvek would work.
Thanks for sharing. It's simple....but a little complicated, too!
Thanks for the video! It is a very clever folded object. What kind of paper did you use for the outside? Do you think one could make this out of KrafTex?
Probably not. Kraftex does not hold a fold and is too soft and thick. I used regular text weight paper.
