@@mollymacrae5103 Merry Christmas to you too! I hope all is well and you are continuing to write your marvelous books!
Awesome! Thank you, Nancy!
Love it!!
Do you have a video that shows how to make the larger boxes underneath?
Hi Nancy: The paper in the video looked like it had a little fabric consistency to it - was it regular paper like copy paper or was it a different type, weight or ingredient paper? Thank you! Lynn
Lynn, the patterned paper I used was a traditional Japanese Chiyogami, similar to origami paper but with a bit more substance, not so thin. However I often make these out of the thinner origami paper and like the outcome just as well. The white paper is also Japanese, which is what I use in my beginning Chinese Threadbook classes. It does feel a bit like fabric, or crepe paper, but thin enough to hold a crisp fold. It is called momigami and can be found in an array of gorgeous rich colors, sometimes with a white backing. You can even make your own momigami, which means kneaded paper. You might look at Tojimbo paper, a specific kind of momigami which works beautifully.
Thank you so much! This was great -- so clear and beautifully presented!
How lovely. Just in time for the holidays, thank you for sharing this with us.

Good morning - I am on my 3rd attempt on this fold. What I need from you: - Say out loud: Position paper: Pattern side up or pattern side down. And horizontal or vertical Then: Fold hamburger or hot dog. Make a valley or mountain fold. Ok. Position the camera from behind the Folder. Close-up photography. With just the paper and hands in frame. Please. I am not upset. Or new to Origami. Been folding for 50 years. I can read upside-down. But not learn upside-down. Thank you.

Any idea where to source the book you mention by Ruth Smith? I've checked amazon and ebay but no hits.....
It is not available in the US, except through contacting Ruth personally in England - she does take orders and mail them. Extremely nice lady. Her email is: eruthsmith@btinternet.com. Good luck! She has a series of four booklets and they are all wonderful.
