This reminds me of origami. I have several journal papers that are Japanese oriented and I have other origami paper. My mind is forming another project.

I really don't know but I have seen it described as both a Blizzard or a Crown binding
@barbibarnum It's called that because Heidi Kyle invented it during a blizzard. It's in her book "Art of the Fold."
