Th climbing, here, is beyond inspired.... And th photography is killer. I dunno, though. Jus speaking for myself, i think I'd have bagged it after that t storm with hail.... And not returned. U did th crux of th climb, obviously th little section at th top wouldda gone ok. And it's th Eiger.... There's a ton of vibe about this peak, much of it bad. I'd prefer u stay in one piece. Glad u did it AND created such an outstanding film!
That was high... i get dizzy looking down from my first floor balcony.. Put me up there and i change into dried out chewing gum sticking to the wall...
Auch wenn es eine Verdammt gute Leistung und viel Glück war a weng Krank im Kopf muss man schon sein . Sorry ist net so gemeint wie ich es ausdrücke aber des war einfach Atemberaubend wie ihr des gemeistert habt
Lol... Yep. However, Messner and Habeler did th standard route and had yards of beta, I'm sure, even before setting foot on it.... Gotta hand it to em, they did in 10hrs what most folks were taking over 2 days to do.....
Maybe it's the fact that I've seen awful accidents happen on more alpine style routes, but this just seems absolutely reckless. Hats off to Jacopo and Babsi, but this route seems like an absolute nightmare.
it's a pinkpoint. :) if i become a sponsored athlete, will someone preplace my draws? . just kidding, 8a+ is something crazy like 5.13c. you're not going to be hand drilling your bolts on lead.
First 50 sec or so had very unpleasant audio, the levels could have been lowered for these audio clips. Around 6:21 is where an example of this type of audio is used properly. I don't think ASMR style audio has a place in these films, however this is just my preference,
You can definitely go to the hospital or to the morgue. Using ropes doesn't make it totally safe, far from it. Toni Kurz used a rope too, and he died on the Eiger, hanging by his rope. His body stayed there, hanging over the void, for months. You can see the picture by searching for his name on Google Images.
They are both so strong! Great movie & great work by Alpsolut!
There are way too many insanely gorgeous shots in this. Then you add in incredible climbing and a great story... mind blown! Well done
Congratulations. Great climbing, and beautifully filmed!
amazing as always. Congrats guys
I have to think of Heinrich Harrer's book "Die weisse Spinne". I can highly recommend it.
Love it! Keep crushing guys 🤘
Incredible film
Great video, thanks!

Fantastic and inspiring :)
Mountaineers 100 years ago would have been totally awestruck to see anyone climbing in this style.
what?? 😆 they was fucking first on North Eiger.
@@alexla_grange8957 The first half dozen climbers on this mountain died before even reaching halfway.
Its just surreal
Amazing 👍
i'm speechless

I always wonder... where is the cameraman (or woman)
Ist die Nordwand wirklich 1800 Meter hoch . Auf dem Monitor kommt sie mir nicht so groß vor
Beautiful relationship
When are going to make a film that last more than the pop corn? Great Job!
Top
I'm only here waiting for the commenters complaining about the cuts and demanding to see an UNCUT send ...
lol same
What did Messner say about bolts ?

I agree. Way out of type2-fun for almost all people.
Yes
The fact that some of the draws were pre placed kinda takes a little bit away from the “alpine adventure” don’t cha think?
it's a pinkpoint. :)

.

I'm going to climb it without ropes, feet first with a piano on my back.
Why are you not allowed to go there?
not allowed to fall
Where and how did she pee? 🤔
Ma voi siete pazzi!!!
Pretty stupid place to bolt a sport route...

Donnerwetter
Not allowed to fall ? As long as you have a rope u can fall any time as much as u want u ain’t going anywhere lol

the beep boop music and weird endless cuts between 3:20-3:50 or whatever it was is just awful to watch.
You didn't have to watch it, man!
@@Domje Yeah you're right, I can watch it, I can comment, I can skip it, etc. And?
