Holy crap! Not only the effort to put this together, but the editing as well! Choosing to carry over audio at opportune times, the order of some putts.... Great job 😁
@@MattyyIceeee here's a challenge, putts that teeter on the basket, both makes and misses and players reaction. Leave the crowd guessing. This could turn into a series of extra content. I'd love to help!
Nice video, thanks for putting in the work to compile all of these amazing putts. It is absolutely insane that there are four 100'+ "putts" just in the first half of the video. The commentator nailed it when he said "this is follow flight territory."
He will take worlds next year. He is so busy this year. We were seeing a distracted Paul last week. With the spot he ended in he will make sure it doesn’t happen again.
I imagine he’ll show up bigger next year after taking a lot of time off. Like you said he’s got a lot going on, and he was injured so he was not playing at 100% Despite all that he still placed a respectable T13, which I think is pretty solid considering everything
Caught this just as I was going to sleep…putting so smooth was like a lullaby…calm, focus, consistency, control, under pressure…thank you for this video!
1st of all, you're awesome for putting this together. I honestly think about the final putt for -18 down at Toboggan (at 9:35) all the time. What a monster
The first in the montage and the put from the 60 ft roll away show why McBeth is such an icon in disc golf. Also crazy thinking how long this would have taken, incredible editing with the audio carry overs and transitions.
@Matthew Barrasso But the end result is really impressive. I watched and was inspired by it. The next round I played, I had those visuals and the 100% commitment of McBeth in my mind and made 3 C2 putts in 18 holes! I rarely make anything from C2 and am an unranked old amateur.
Watching this video reminded me just how good the back Nine battle before the Shot was. Like, the back and forth drama of the whole 9 gets a bit lost in the singular moment. I had forgotten about all of the huge putts Paul made ob that back nine.
Yeah that's why I put those clips in succession, that back nine battle was an incredible display of skill that more often gets lost behind James' throw-in on 18
Thanks so much for this! You're a legend! I was 15 minutes in and was like okay time that was cool my brain needs a break. Check the time and I was only half way thru 😅🤯
Beast mode on full display. Insane he stands there so stoically just before crushing long putts and competitor's chances. Time after time after time he's done this. I'd be curious how changing sponsorship and putters has affected his long putts. Wonder if it has increased, decreased or not changed his long range putting accuracy?
I don't think switching sponsors has affected his long putt accuracy. If anything, he's improved his game over the years (with the rest of the field) and thus had more opportunities inside the circle than outside. Of the clips in this video 37/100 are from pre-switch to Discraft, 63/100 are post-switch to Discraft. Part of that is aided by the fact that Jomez didn't have a full tour season until 2017, so that's only two full tour seasons where McBeth was with Innova before he switched to Discraft in 2019. So statistically speaking there was less footage of Paul pre-Discraft to choose from.
Great footage. For years I have been wondering when will be the last time he runs in a big putt. He seems to walk in the majority but does the run in now and then still.
*Paul on his knee, lining the last impossible shot...* *Throws and 2 seconds later chains ring* Jerm: "I'm done..." and walks out 🤣 Not sure how many times I almost walked away just from watching this montage, can only imagine 🤦♂
Anyone else notice that Paul foot faults some of his jump putts? His lead foot, that's behind his lie, sometimes looks to be leaving the ground before he releases the disc I think 24:21 is a good example, the other putts are a bit harder to tell.
Reminds of a funny quote from the baseball movie “Major League” part one. Rather than recognizing a mammoth grand slam homer as an outstanding feat, the Indians fan in the outfield bleachers who watched the homer sail way over his head said, “that homer was too high!” This video reel highlights countless times how McBeth’s form is disc golf legal and nearly perfect, even at SloMez speed. McBeth’s jump putt form should be emulated in disc golf college classrooms everywhere. But the cynic says…on Feb 3rd 2017 at 3pm on hole 7, on the side of a hill Paul may have foot-faulted by 1/4 of a second? Well, Tiger Woods may have foot faulted once or twice in his career too. What should Tiger be remembered for, what should Paul be remembered for?
Holy crap! Not only the effort to put this together, but the editing as well! Choosing to carry over audio at opportune times, the order of some putts.... Great job 😁
Thank you! I was hoping those smaller details would make a difference.
One of my favorite audio carryovers has to be at 30:45

Exactly what made this amazing. Crazy good.
Came to say exactly this. The way some of the clips carried the audio into the next one so you could hear the final thoughts was great.
This is an awesome, well put together montage. Thanks
unbelievable job with this video man!
Matthew Barraso, the legend with the time to put it together.
final round paul mcbeth under pressure is the greatest disc golf putter of all time
Thanks to this video, I learned thar Big Jerm doesn't understand how baseball works.
This. You want to know how to putt, or how to win... watch. He is definitely the best at anything involving pressure and determination. THE GOAT.
His ability to remain cool, calm, and collected in those situations is unreal
Sick, just sick

This video has helped me with my putting more than any putting tips video, and this video isn't even meant for that 😂
It's amazing. When you look at the scores at the bottom Paul is leading like 90% of the time
He will take worlds next year. He is so busy this year. We were seeing a distracted Paul last week. With the spot he ended in he will make sure it doesn’t happen again.

The audio over while the next put is already in the air was noice 👌👌
Thank you! I was hoping that would make the video flow more smoothly
lol jerm's comment at the beginning... hopefully they see this!
I made a post on Reddit in r/discgolf regarding this video, and he responded to that so I believe he kept his word!

Love that you put the first clip in and called out jerm! This is amazing! Great work!

Just think how many days of video to scan through to find these.
Thank you! Let's just say this project was broken up into six or seven different stages

I love that you got the "when it's not your day and you're still 6 under at Dick Si--Disc Side of Heaven, oh my god. Did I do it?"
never hated such an awesome guy so much! So inspirational it's annoying! Love you Paul! Keep being the King. great compilation, Matt.
This could also be titled "jerm getting frustrated with Paul's impossible putting compilation"
His reactions are some of my favorites
Well done, major props to the creator, very good job! Thank you!
Simon has his intro with him doing a 360 drive, and Paul should have something with a disc flying from a bush into the basket to his intro
🐐
GREATEST VIDEO OF ALL TIME
Awesome video. Really well put together. Bravo.
Their reaction to the putts are hilarious lmao
Definitely one of my favorite parts of this compilation
Lol here you go jerm
great
I love how they're almost mad at 90% of these putts 🤣
The best. Ever.
I appreciate the effort and thoroughly enjoyed this!
Wow, amazing comp. Smash.
This must have taken days, thank you.
I worked on this (on and off) from the 2022 MVP Open to Christmas Day :p
Great video man, gotta love the 🐐
Very well done! Thanks for this :-)
This is just amazing and I hope it gets the reach it deserves really well made video! Steller work man 🔥
That par putt at Jonesboro--made possible by Ricky standing right there.
Thanks so much for this! You're a legend! I was 15 minutes in and was like okay time that was cool my brain needs a break. Check the time and I was only half way thru 😅🤯
Great stuff. Thank you for sharing. I wish I could get similar coverage of my own putts - it would be around 4 to 9 seconds - just intro.
Greatness
Been using a Luna as my go -to putter... never going back, slamming C2 putts for days. Beast!
Well done! That was a lot!
This also doubles as a “wow” compilation 😎
Great compilation!
Very well put together 👏👏👏.
Amazing - thanks for sharing!

Second putt already, fucking insane. LOOK AT THE RIPPING WIND! How do you make a 60 footer in that kind of crosswind, just sick.
30 minutes of putting only is crazy! Even with slomez

*Throws and 2 seconds later chains ring*

He’s just annoying good, makes me reevaluate my entire disc golf approach to the game
I love Nate so much.
I always say putting consistently is what wins games. This dude is the proof
Who are you
I can't take it any more! Show him missing just one. Please?? LOL
As you wish, at 2:54 Paul misses…but makes the even longer resulting roll-away putt…ha ha.
Paul is crazy insane putter
McBeth from nowhere to be seen lately!!
2:27 spotted a wild Jamie mosier!
Ye-e-e-eah

That was a shitty analogy.
Furthermore, who cares what he'll be remembered for? I am just asking others if they noticed the rule breaking.
Watching him putt is so electric
has anyone sent this to Jerm? it would be fun to see them watch the montage
When I first uploaded this video I posted it to Reddit and tagged him. He did leave a comment on the Reddit post
This video is all the same but I’m gonna watch the whole thing anyway
The real question is has Jerm seen this yet
The real answer is yes, I made a reddit post back when I first uploaded it, to which he responded
“How good was Paul McBeth?” There’s a 30+ minute video of him from long range, and that’s only on coverage…
Someone needs to tell Jerm!! Lol
I did through a post on r/discgolf, to which he responded
@@MattyyIceeee nice!!!
