I am 68 yrs old and have seen and heard many, many guitar players in my life but nothing like Mr. Bonamassa!!! He is a joy and a wonder to behold, truly one of a kind.
I can’t believe how many people are fans of his and haven’t seen this performance. There’s a reason why Joe is considered the king

Joe is a master! I'm more impressed by his acoustic guitar playing here and at Carnegie Hall! I wish he would do more concerts in acoustic guitar! He's a master musician!
He used to do full acoustic sets with a different band in his shows several years ago for a period.

Yazid Knopfler I got jam with him at Namm this year and seen him live 7 times or something. Trust me this guy puts on a new insane show everytime he plays. This song and this performance is my favorite of his and the one that I wanted to take time to learn when I first heard it years ago

Unfortunately I had experienced a long-term depression of many years at the time, and music was helping me to open up more and withdraw less. I had begun to enjoy reaching out and interacting with commenters here on RUclips. So when someone indicated that they appreciated my contribution to the comments, it made me extraordinarily happy. Too much so? Who knows. Sometimes a simple compliment goes a long way toward making someone’s day.
My friends couldn't believe me until I played it for them how fantastic this track is. I was still awestruck and we all couldn't get our minds on believing that this awesome superb fantastic guitar work was 11 minutes long!

❤ Joe’s acoustic 🎸 playing in this! I’m going on 70 and have been a fan of his for many years. And please people, don’t give me any 👎 for this next comment! I was a classical pianist and organist since I was 5, NOT a guitarist!, but I hear more of a Latin sound in this than his ‘usual’ style and think it’s a great change 👏! I’ve heard him sing 🎤 better though, but fortunately he’s more focused on the guitar solos here. I also really like that it’s not a short video - being about 11 minutes long, and yet I keep repeating it anyway!

Joe would be playing an Alvarez Yairi acoustic, Master Series likely. Just beautiful, and perfect sound quality. Joe gets it all out of there too.
That’s an Alvarez Yairi WY-K1. I’ve owned one since 1999. I’ve never seen another one out and about before this video. I own many acoustics but none sound anywhere close to as good as this Yairi.

Wow, Joe knocked this performance thru the walls and back again. A beautiful acoustic guitar too. My jaw hit the ground; is that a blues, classical melding? Maybe a musician who knows guitars and styles can give a greater in-depth analysis.
He once said he thought it would be cool to take all the stuff he'd learned and put it all together. He started on an acoustic at 4.

I just saw them perform together a couple weeks ago. Tommy says that Joes the best player in the world and is in awe of him and Joe says he’s in awe of Tommy.

As good as this one is, I prefer the Carnegie Hall version. Really shows his evolution as a singer. Again - don't dislike this one, just prefer the other. Also, hate the sound of a piezo (sp?). Probably just me, but there it is.
