Great video bud. That was a weird day. After pre-fishing Friday I thought they were gonna be chewing, but it was a lot tougher than I think a lot of us were expecting.
Thank you for sharing your day on the lake in this tournament I tell you what the weather was beautiful you caught all kinds of fish and even got a huge PB, every cloud has a silver lining! I think of this was a multi species tournament you definitely would have made 1st place! Here’s my question why isn’t Colorado not a major bass fishery compared to other southern states, even trying to find that linker bass over 23 inches where even California or New York fisheries have amazing large and small mouth giants? I would love to see Colorado be a big player for something like that in the future! Tight lines Matt take care and God bless until the next tournament!
Thanks for tuning in. There are some good bass fisheries in Colorado but there’s a lot of pressure and we don’t have the management focus on bass that we do for trout here. That’s just my opinion. We could have awesome smallmouth and some places do. Take it easy!
