    Hey with the new rule. No one is laying up on 16. Literally no body. Pdga stuck their nose in and tried to make us ball golf again. Did they forget that without hole 16 the tournament was completely different. Entirely different outcome

    This tournament should be its own weekend, not an exhibition right before a major. I'd say 3 rounds - 18 holes of stroke play, 18 holes of match play and 18 holes of doubles with 3 schemes in sections (3 best shot, 3 worst shot, 3 alternating x 2)

    Just like every year I've tried to watch it, this free coverage of the Presidents Cup gives me no clue what actually happened there as a sports event. The video feels like just a hundred random throws combined together and then some results in the end. It's not much of an advertisement for the event. Actually, the way it's currently covered, it's almost as if the event didn't even exist. Maybe if it was summarized properly, it could become one of the highlights of the year.
    To start with, show them pool by pool, showing not only the coolest shots but also the crucial ones that decided the outcomes in the pool, then clearly give scores for that pool. Then proceed to the next pool and always show how they add up. You shouldn't mix pools in the highlights video just because in real life they happened to play at the same time.

    Did he say Richard Wysocki... lol I know that's his legal first name but he he goes by Ricky. That's his signature that they stamp on all his discs. It's just weird to hear it. lol

    • @andrewmartineau7460
      @andrewmartineau7460 Месяц назад +2

      Everyone knows it's Ricky. However, since they changed to PDGA based stats at the start of this year, his score has been displayed as Richard instead of Ricky because that's the name he signed up with.

    • @michaelwhitlock6301
      @michaelwhitlock6301 Месяц назад

      Yeah for some reason in these highlights videos it’s not clear.
      2 rounds where you get points for your team.
      First round, you’re only playing against the people on your card for points - 2 USA and 2 Europe. Your placement on the card at the end determines points (1st 4p, 2nd 2p, 3rd 1p, 4th 0p).
      Then it’s match play, which is one-on-one matchups, for the second round with points attached as well.

    • @michaelwhitlock6301
      @michaelwhitlock6301 Месяц назад

      Yeah, nationality first - and it could also be his pick! Like, if both the US and Europe were to ask him to go to the Olympics or something, I’m sure he’d pick Germany because that’s his homeland and what he would want to represent. President’s Cup the same deal.
