  • Colorado Kayak Bassmasters Red Willow: We had two separate tournaments over the weekend at Red Willow SRA near McCook, NE. It was a rough start to the season, but this weekend treated me well. Top 5 both days, a win on day 2. Next video will be the 2nd day where I pulled off the win. The fishing was slow, but we found them!

You convinced me. I'm gonna have to buy some nail weights and finally learn a Neko rig. Awesome video, can't wait for day 2.

Do you think you would’ve done as well as you did if you did not have all the electronics on your kayak? Very curious as I think electronics takes away from the real meaning of fishing.

I think having electronics definitely help, but this tournament I could’ve just turned them off and I did for a portion of the day. The most important thing to me is my charts for contour lines. I think the real meaning of fishing differs person to person so do what attracts you to the sport. I do think my electronics have helped me become a better angler quicker than if I did not have them. Always learning.

This guys the worst. All he does is rip lips and torture fish.
