I don't remember this game looking so good. Wow. Good work on video, also didn't know there were idle animations and some of them even look like unjamming animations.
I like the bastard gun's first animation, looks like something I would do (like playing with calipers adjusted to a very specific number, and messing up the measurement, or messing with a bookmark and making someone lose their page). This also adds to the "homemade-ness" of an improvised gun, very cool
Got recommended this randomly and it just made me buy the game lol Only heard good things about it, but that bell-ringing animation just sealed the deal.
Can we appreciate the fact that the action and cartridge ejection port are on the correct side for these guns?! Instead of going for "who cares if it makes no sense mechanically the player needs to see the bullet eject out in front of them even if the bolt is on the opposite side."
There is a couple of guns that I have never seen before and i played all the games from metro: Metro 1 and redux, Metro Last Light and redux and Metro Exodus with all DLCs
Remember. Artyom had fought or sneaked his way through/around several armies of mutants, monsters, bandits and actuals soldiers at this point. And he's still a klutz with few equals in the world.
Thats pretty much saying alot and kinda embarrassing for the nazis and the reds, I mean those armies have trained soldiers armed to the teeth to only get fucked over by a guy who has no military training and somewhat goofs around (idle wise) even surviving the surface
Two things this video reminded me of about Metro: 1. They had a fun time making the animations for this game 2. Holy fuck the sound design in the early games was terrible. Re-using the same stock assets for different guns and different actions on guns, sounds that don't match the movement of the animation, etc
In a simple few animations they have given Artyom alot of personality in ways he treats and inspects his guns. He plays around with them likes to show off a bit. Sometimes it usually ends up with him getting hurt or making the gun broke but he always ends up fixxing it.

Who uses a cleaning rod on a loaded shotgun lol
Russians
We do be like that
A post apocalyptic Russian living in the tunnels
A 20 year old who hasn't been trained to use one properly.
I'm Artyom Chornyi and welcome to Jackass!

The Flashlight is the best weapon
I don't remember this game looking so good. Wow. Good work on video, also didn't know there were idle animations and some of them even look like unjamming animations.
Don't remember half the guns, but loved the games, awesome vid!
Me neither xd
Metro got quite a few DLC's in its life.
Never though i could become so happy with details and sound effects
These are some of the most practical impractical weapons I’ve seen in a game
This is probably the most accurate description of Metro's guns I've ever read.
Thanks for making this men. Im a big fan of metro series
I like the bastard gun's first animation, looks like something I would do (like playing with calipers adjusted to a very specific number, and messing up the measurement, or messing with a bookmark and making someone lose their page). This also adds to the "homemade-ness" of an improvised gun, very cool
Got recommended this randomly and it just made me buy the game lol
Only heard good things about it, but that bell-ringing animation just sealed the deal.
3:11 never played this game but i can assume that this gun dosent fire tf2 updates
This is more satisfying than I expected.
I love how goofy artyom is with his guns.
Same lol
Can we appreciate the fact that the action and cartridge ejection port are on the correct side for these guns?! Instead of going for "who cares if it makes no sense mechanically the player needs to see the bullet eject out in front of them even if the bolt is on the opposite side."
I was looking for a reason to re-download "I love my wife" simulator. Thank you.
*wheeze*
Rabbit simulator.
You deserve more subscribers dude
1:41 he's like
Ho fuck Put it back
PUT IT BACK
these really reminds me of farcry 2 animations and i love it
Ah yes give me another reason why I want to replay this series.
There is a couple of guns that I have never seen before and i played all the games from metro: Metro 1 and redux, Metro Last Light and redux and Metro Exodus with all DLCs
I want to bring the vibes that his idle animations make when there's an apocalypse
Artyom fucking around with his guns is the best part of metro redux so far
2:19 AKSU
Not you again 😑
@@Naughtydogfan-dj7rf who is this dude
@@sivaalteredspringbonnie9956 he comments on every gun video game showcase saying the name of the weapons
@@Naughtydogfan-dj7rf sounds annoying
Why Him???? 🤨
1:02 :D
At 3:57 if you put your volume on max and listen you can hear Artyom gasp when he pulls that mag out.
I love these animations, they make me think we still have the young boy artiom from 2033 and that he hasn't grown or changed that much.
this is the type of content i like to see
Two things this video reminded me of about Metro:
1. They had a fun time making the animations for this game
2. Holy fuck the sound design in the early games was terrible. Re-using the same stock assets for different guns and different actions on guns, sounds that don't match the movement of the animation, etc
other idles: looks at the gun
Artyom: *ADHD*
3:40 Wouah the grenade launcher is alive
Love it when Artyom counts the rounds in the AK with his finger ❤️
02:23

02:39
oh man oh man these sounds are satisfying
agreed
In a simple few animations they have given Artyom alot of personality in ways he treats and inspects his guns. He plays around with them likes to show off a bit. Sometimes it usually ends up with him getting hurt or making the gun broke but he always ends up fixxing it.
Artyom: The hero of the metro and the greatest soldier alive in Russia.
Also Artyom: 5:28
This is Surprisingly Satisfactory in Many Ways
