    Nice video, but you are doing your stockinette knitting in the back of the stitch instead of the front which twists the stitch ?

    Can you help me understand the difference when you knit in the back loop or knit from the front. I also knit continental.

    I love the stitch holder you use in this video. Where would I find one to purchase. They don't seem to be for sale generally in North America.

      You can buy them from Amazon UK and are called split ring stitch markers, Pony do a great set of various sizes and they are not expensive at all!!

    I absolutely love your videos! I have made a few flowers and lace and would like to sell a few (I am a broke college student). Just wondering if this is okay with you? If I can i would like to credit you but am not sure how you would prefer the citation or reference. Thank You

      You need to find out the creator of this stitch and check with then to see if it copyrighted....unless you intend to use this video in your sales then there would be no need to ask this up loader!

    You waste too much time -- making us watch while you knit 21 stitches? And purl 21 stitches? Just pause the camera! And you knit backwards for most people, so I'm not sure this would even work. Just give written instructions.

    • @MsChillyfun

      I believe that the lady is knitting in continental style, and on the knit stitch it is knitted in the back loop and not the front...and I think it's more for the pattern its self than an actual stitch tutorial....

    • @MegaMindyLou
      @MegaMindyLou 8 лет назад

      There aren't many continental knitters on RUclips, so I appreciate her videos very much. I'm a crocheter and learning to knit this way was easier for me. Technically, it is faster than the traditional throwing method of knitting.
