I love this! Perfect speed for teaching - I am very Irish and am trying to learn the stitches in my family clan’s pattern and honestly expected the honeycomb pattern to be difficult. I’m watching on my lunch break but I can’t wait to go home and try it!
This was exactly what I needed! I was having quite a bit of trouble visualizing the process, so thank so much for clearly breaking down each step! I can’t wait to try it out myself 😁
Thanx for the explanation! I tried this with the ribble stitch in between the hexagons and that looks cool too. Next experiment wil be this in fishermans stitch and larger and smaller.
You go girl! Would I be overdoing it if I did the regular honeycomb AND the honeycomb cable pattern? Especially in the same color for two same but different looks?
😧😧😧 OMG I PREDICTED THE FUTURE AGAIN AND IM NOT LIEING Last night I had a dream of this pattern coming out from you!! Once I had a dream where I was sitting out side on a bench with a glass of water then suddenly a black car parks on my driveway and asks if I’ve seen some sorta device thingie.. then a year later IT HAPPEND!! I’m sooo confused this is amazing!!
Each of the cable row do I alternate c4b with c4f on row three or is it c4b all the way down then row seven? I heard you say c4f / c4b for row seven so I just want to make sure I don't mess it up could I get this printed for me please? I'm hearing impaired and just want to make this as bday gifts thank you.
I love the explanation in this video, but is there a way to make this with two colors? Trying to make this into a baby blanket with this apricot and pistachio colored yarns from Bella Cash
I just looked up and saw you holding what's basically a strip single honeycombs. What if I took that idea and worked a job-as-you-go with other shades or rainbow colors?
Hiya, thank you for making this stitch seem possible. I just saw a blanket with this stitch except the honeycomb was one color and the back a different color. How is that done?
searched soooo long for this pattern, didn't know it was called that way... LOL. But i also saw a lace version of this, i mean just the "embossed" cables with holes instead of the stockinette "backgroud". how would you create that?
Hello! I watched your honeycomb knitting. its beautiful design. However. i have a question about how to chose appropriate needle for this specific design. I am trying to knit a hat with this design. i did knitted in the past. but it was not as i expected it. would you please help me what kind of needle i need to use. The yarn I use is worsted weight. 4Ply/ Net wt 6 oz. 170 g. Thank You! Etsegenet
Cait Roberts would still work, but it. The long tail is more stretchy. The old Norwegian (I think that’s what it’s called, aka German Twist) cast on is even stretchier.
I've looked up some knitting how tos because I forgot how to purl with my right hand and every one of them knits different then I do have I been knitting wrong this whole time
TheBarefootShoemaker yeah but invert every second row. So when it says purl on wrongside rows, knit. When it says knit on the wrongside rows, purl. Also, take wrongside instructions and mirror them. Because in the round you are always knitting frontside, in one direction rather than turning and going back and forth.

Loving this stitch!! My only question is how would you decrease it? I always struggle trying to figure that part out! 😞
Ayesha knit 2 stitches and casting off the first stitch.
This is so lovely! Is there any way to do this in two colors (the inner part a diff color?)
Will you do a sweater tutorial pretty please! Love all of your videos!
You go girl! Would I be overdoing it if I did the regular honeycomb AND the honeycomb cable pattern? Especially in the same color for two same but different looks?

You are just so amazing!!!
What would happen if you did purl gutters in between the cells instead of knits?
You made the most hardest stitches the most easiest way

For circular needle please. :) :)

Where's the easy button? Loving your tutorials!
Thanks!
Does it have to be a long-tail cast-on? What would happen if you used a "normal" cast-on?
Cait Roberts would still work, but it. The long tail is more stretchy. The old Norwegian (I think that’s what it’s called, aka German Twist) cast on is even stretchier.
Thank u
subscribed.. your instructions are amazing. Can you make a tutorial on skirt?? please!!!
Oooh... great idea, thanks!

I've looked up some knitting how tos because I forgot how to purl with my right hand and every one of them knits different then I do have I been knitting wrong this whole time
I've been knitting wrong the entire time I've been knitting I guess the knitting class I took in middle school was not it chief
Do I knit it the same in the round?
TheBarefootShoemaker yeah but invert every second row. So when it says purl on wrongside rows, knit. When it says knit on the wrongside rows, purl. Also, take wrongside instructions and mirror them. Because in the round you are always knitting frontside, in one direction rather than turning and going back and forth.
Also C4B becomes C4F and vice versa on on wrongside rows
This was simple
