To those saying it doesn't work, it does but you most likely have the incorrect calendar link. To whomever is sharing the link with you, or sharing it to yourself, you must get the ICAL link of your google calendar. You can find it in the settings of the google calendar almost at the very bottom. If the calendar you are trying to access was not created by you, request the ical link to the creator of the calendar.
I'm in the settings of the Google calendar. I have pasted both the calendar URL & embed codes. Neither worked. I don't know how else to obtain iCAL link? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your comment by the way.

Thanks for your video. Just tried it and it works great. The key is you have to copy the google shared calender link from your google calendar.
@reddigfan18 There are usually 3 options for the link. Which one is the one we should use? There is Calendar ID, Public URL and Embed code.
How do you do this for android? I can't see my shared calendar.

My calendar specifically was private so I had to use the secret Ical link.
