07:14- I wonder if this girl carried her mania through adulthood, tearing out the carpet in every place she lived, replacing it with linoleum and filling a chest freezer with tater tots and dancing her self into a frenzy
4:10 - Why must you torture me with these clips? I could be watching an episode of Free Spirit where someone gets turned into a monkey wearing 80s clothes? Sold!!
I remember a lot of the ads here, great times! That Julie Andrews/Carol Burnett special looks so gloriously cheesy, time to see if any posted it in RUclips!
Wrigley's Gum-did an alien possess that computer..? Who's The Boss-the old"I have feelings for you" trope was finally used Coach-too bad NBC passed on that revival IRON-commercial mustve been directed by Prince Doogie Howser MD-That most certainly was the wrong time to be surprised lol Partnership for a DFA-just one:What kind of drugs out there can turn your brain into a sizzling fried egg?
I have been trying to come up with an answer for you, but just can't place this girl. I checked the cast lists of several mid-to-late '80s shows such as Family Ties, Who's The Boss, even Living Dolls and still cannot get a positive I.D.
Her name was Kristin Rohde. Someone actually identified her back in volume 24. She was best known as Officer Claire Howell on the series Oz. Sadly, she passed away in 2016 at the age of 52 from cancer.
@TheLincolnBlogs Thanks for the question, but kids themed TV from the late 80's is not my area of expertise- I was in college. Phil Simms won the Super Bowl in '87, so the ad could have ran from then until the early 90's. It sounds like a cereal ad with the promo you described at the end. I would recommend looking at the item descriptions in each volume for the year aired and content. I know it's time consuming, but happy hunting!
Wow I miss the 80s..they were the best times. Life was still innocent and fun back then. No internet trolls and social media back then.
Nothing will replace the 80s. Best for TV shows, movies, cartoons, and history.
Michael G so fucking right
Minouche Jean tyvm
Also distinctive fashions and video games
Mike Troncin just wish I had a DeLorean and go back in time.
That drug PSA with the egg has to be one of the most famous besides the "I learned it from you" one.
I love this Sprite jingle. So catchy.

I remember having one of the Back to the Future Part II Pizza Hut sunglasses. Wow, so futuristic! In 2015 everybody ep will wear 'em!
wildsmiley I had them, too. 😁
The curious A.I. in that Wrigley's commercial is how SkyNet gets started.
Monica Belluci in that Iron commercial
I remember getting the solar shades from pizza hut.
Why is the beginning of that Theraflu commercial at 6:10 so damn funny to me?
I WANTED THAT MACGYVER PROMO INSTEAD OF GOOD MORNING AMERICA!
At this rate we'll see the end of every episode of Free Spirit!
1:06..Lol Cole from Martin. Wow..grew up in the 80s and never caught that.
Wow! As much as I've seen this commercial past and present, I didn't realize that was Cole (Carl Anthony Payne II) until you mentioned it.

I was going ot sing along to the Iron commercial like I usually do...this was a different version!
1:06 Carl Payne (he played Theo's friend Cockroach on "The Cosby Show" and Martin's friend Cole on the sitcom "Martin")
Wrigley's Gum-did an alien possess that computer..?

Coach-too bad NBC passed on that revival
IRON-commercial mustve been directed by Prince
Doogie Howser MD-That most certainly was the wrong time to be surprised lol
Partnership for a DFA-just one:What kind of drugs out there can turn your brain into a sizzling fried egg?
Prince made some kind of perfume call "Get Wild".
So was that older woman coming onto a child in that Doogie Howser promo
No, I'm decidedly not ready for some footbaaaaaaalll! I'm never going to be ready for some stupid $&%?#@* footbaaaaaaallll!
Anyone know Who’s the girl in the gum ad she looks familiar?
