Their stage precense is amazing and I hope to one day get to see them in person! My favorite part of your reaction (besides all of it)???? When Floor went into the freestyle runs at the end...and your face said "WHAT??? WHY??? HOW???" to which my answer is always "Because Floor".
This is gonna be a ton of fun watching you take this journey, tumbling down the rabbit hole. In your GLS reaction, I'm sure the commanding general of the Nightwish Army ( @Gabriel Bardoc) provided you a helluva roadmap. However, my suggestion for your next one is Seven Days to the Wolves from this same Wembley show, or Yours Is an Empty Hope also from Wembley. Both go much harder, and you'll see a MUCH more metal side of The Goddess.
I don't think there is ever gonna be a part on this journey where she doesn't surprise me! She is amazing!

My recommendation for next song would probably be Storytime from Wacken 2013 Or, if you want to see their more metal side, check out Romanticide, also from that show. Refer to Gabriel’s list for best versions. You’re just beginning to scratch the surface. Enjoy the journey. I have.

actually not true,some of the venue versions are not the best for a reactor to start with,it's also way too big and confusing

Yes, she's genuinely enjoying being there and singing, doing what she loves, but it actually affects her sound too. You can hear the smile in her vocals, so to say. It's part of her brand.
"Nemo" is the eighth single and the first from the album Once, 2004. The song can be heard in the ending credits of the 2005 film The Cave. [Wikipedia]. Next song you might like Shudder Before The Beautiful (OFFICIAL LIVE). So fun to see you so enthusiastic with Nightwish.

Floor is so awesome!!! I loved Nightwish as a teenager and I love getting back into them now with a new singer!!!
If you like them, I’d really LOVE for you to react to another symphonic metal band that holds my heart: Within Temptation. If Floor is a Valkyrie, Sharon den Adel is a *siren*. Both groups actually started the same year, too!
Within Temptation is really special because they’ve done concerts with a full choir and orchestra, and it’s the most epic thing you’ll ever hear. If you do check them out I would recommend starting with The Truth Beneath the Rose from their Black Symphony concert. Truly one of the only bands in the world that I can say sound even better live than on the studio recordings. They’ve also gotten into more of a commercial rock/pop-metal sound in recent years and I love their most recent song Entertain You.
Personal fave: Phantom of the Opera (best version anywhere, AFAIC); Tarja (Tar-yuh) the original vocalist + Marko. Amazing.
And if you want to hear the 2nd vocalist Anette, Amaranth is one that fits her well.
This was the first song I heard from Nightwish 15 years ago, been loving them ever since

You need to hear the other singer MARCO the bass player sing with floor. EVER DREAM ,OR romanticide a little more kick ass in that one if you dare, they are good one.2013 concert
As much as I love the acoustic and lighter settings of Nemo, the full band live treatment is the must see. Troy's soaring guitar on the end is spectacular.

I first discovered Nightwish as a 17 year old in 1998. I was playing an online video game and someone started the topic of "what are you listening to right now" and someone was listening to Ghost Love Score so i started up IRC chat and downloaded an MP3 of the song on my terribly slow dial up internet. I was hooked from then on. May have been the first Canadian to hear of Nightwish. Wish I could thank the person who introduced me to them in the Online MMO Everquest back in 1998
Despite the Wembley might be close to your heart, I suggest to check out other live performances by them.

Hey great choice of song, and once again loving your content! But from a HUGE Floor fan, understand, Floor is giving 95% in my estimation during this performance. For any Nightwish song you want to review, check first for a performance from their all-time greatest concert, Wacken 2013. In every number she performs there, she is in absolute superhuman Godess mode, giving it an electrifying and incandescent 900% nuclear blast commitment. Those performances can almost certainly never again be duplicated. watch that version of Nemo, if only for yourself.

Right at the end the synth-like sound behind Floor was created by Troy on the e-bow. There were a few closeups of him as well. It really adds to this performance.
So glad you decided to go down this rabbit hole! Great reaction! I found Nightwish about 6ish months ago and was blown away too, and mad that I'd lived so long without their music in my life. Always great watching others have the same reaction I did. My suggestion next would be to go back to the Wacken 2013 concert and go for Storytime or Romanticide next. Same show. They have a huge catalog of music (1996 - present) and they will always surprise you. Most songs sound different, but they all have a quality in them that is unmistakably Nightwish. Such an amazing band and all are genuinely nice and wonderful human beings! Here for the ride! Looking forward to your next one!
As a side note, if you are not familiar with the group Spiritbox, try their video Rule of Nines. Female lead. Great music. I think you'll be surprised by them, if you haven't heard them already, of course!

I found your channel through the kpop reactions, but before I got into kpop Nightwish was my favorite band. You have no idea how happy I am to see Nightwish reactions!
Recommending Dark Chest of Wonders, Storytime, Romanticide or Song of Myself from Wacken 2013.
I’m sure this has been mentioned but Tuomas (keyboardist) is their main composer/lyricist and a genius. Floor (vocals) is their 3rd vocalist- their original vocalist (Tarja) had a more operatic/classical voice (Ghost Love Score and Nemo were both written for her) and Annette has a more rock/pop voice. When you watch Floor at the Wacken 2013 performance, she is serving as a last minute replacement after Annette’s sudden departure. And yet not only does Floor flawlessly nail every song regardless of which previous vocalist it was written for, but she seemlessly blends the styles of Tarja and Annette and makes the songs her own classical/rock fusion. Truly a symphonic metal queen.
Saw them live last year, was just as amazing as you would think! My favourite band of all time, endless catalogue of songs most beautiful! I don't care which one you react, I like all of their songs. Just pick one and go, haha. :-)

I’ve seen them live twice. It will never be enough! I was at their show in Mexico City in 2015. Center stage about 7 rows back, best show I’ve ever seen. Plenty of videos of that one on youtube

Floor is quite something else, so sweet and down to earth. Gotta say Dutch girls are the best. My fiancé is Dutch and we are seeing Nightwish at the Ziggodome in Amsterdam in Nov. In answer to your question Nightwish will be here in the UK in November.

Check the comments from your first Nightwish reaction for a comment from a gentleman named Gabriel Bardac. It will have detailed info about the band and its history along with a list of recommended songs with links included. Of course, Mr. Gabriel has said before that sticking strictly to list is not mandatory, and that he urges new reactors to think of the list simply as a guide (like a map or compass) as they traverse the great ocean that is the music of Nightwish.

Great Reaction, not difficult to appreciate how much you are enojoying this journey and let me tell you this is just the top of the iceberg, Nightwish is the greatest band ever, and they´ve been great evolving, they´ve had 3 amazing vocalists, Floor is the best for sure, but the other 2 are Queens too, rest of the band is amazing too, in this video you could check the second drummer and as you see no matter who leaves, Tuomas Holopainen (founder, keyboardist, writer and composer of all Nw magic) finds the strnght to keep going and give us that masterpieces, every song you pick to react would give you this joy, their concert versions are better to appreciate them more, i would say Whacken, Tampere, Wembley and Buenos Aires are the best to chose any song, and if you´re a cryer you will need a container of tissues cause no matter how much you hear their songs tears always get free, Keep Rocking and Stay Safe!
Floor is definitely best singer…. It’s her voice, but it’s not only her voice… she is smiling, laughing, so emotional- what the song needs…. but do not forget all the other band members - all of them are phenomenal. Some more songs and you will notice this…
My suggestion for the next song: Storytime & Everdream (Wacken 2013), Shudder before the beautiful (Wembley 2015) - you will be sooo jealous… 🤣🏆👍
You commented about how much fun they have together on stage. At 7:46 in your video watch as Empu walks past Floor; she kind of smiles and stares him down. If you find this song in the complete concert, during the song before this (I believe) you see him standing next to Troy the multi-instrumentalist who played this whistle in this song and they're both grinning and nodding. Then a bit later you see Empu do this walk past Floor ... and unplug her in-ear monitors so she can't hear the song to like she should. When he makes his way back across the stage he's got a cheeky grin on his face and Floor bends down as he approaches and stares him down the whole time he's within reach of her so that he can't do it again. It's cool to see them obviously enjoying themselves while they are entertaining 20k+ other people.

You picked a good track from their epic Wembley show. In that set list, it follows a true Nightwish masterpiece that should probably be another 5+ reactions down the road for you. For your next reaction, I'd recommend Ever Dream from Wacken 2013. in that song, you'll be introduced to another one of band's musical weapons. Love the energy of your reactions!
It really does not matter which route you take with Nightwish and all the other artists and bands the Nightwish rabbit hole will lead you down. Whatever way you go your onto a winner.

You've got to hear their song "Romanticide" live at Wacken, 2013. So great! Floor and Marco do the most amazing harmonized scream I have ever heard.
Nightwish is amazing in live performance. Their show-opener for the Wacken 2013 set is "Dark Chest of Wonders" and it is IMHO one of the greatest show-openers ever. High energy and charisma grabs you from the downbeat and never lets you go.
Hey, You mentioned having seen them long time ago in concert in the previous video too. If it was really really long ago it might have been with the second singer of the band...or maybe even first. Floor is the 3rd and current one. She joined in 2012 if i remember correctly in the middle of a world tour and she's pretty much the reason i started listening again to Nightwish,

I am not one to wish time away but I want November to come tomorrow when I will see them in Birmingham. Nightwish have always been a great band but When Floor started singing for them in 2012 they moved the stratosphere. Floor became an official member in 2013 along with Troy Donochley who plays a lot of instruments, here he is playing the E-bow on a PRS guitar. You're not ready for The Poet and The Pendulum so maybe Storytime or Elan or I Want My Tears Back (the version from Argentina)
Love the channel mate. So many Nightwish masterpieces out there. What about Ghost River, Storytime from Wacken 2013 or Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean Buenos Aires 2018 Decades Tour.
Luke, I have seen Nightwish 3 times. Once with each vocalist. And for me, by far, Floor Jansen is the best I have seen. Annette and Tarja were amazing in their own rights, but Floor gives me goosebumps when she sings. They are coming to Los Angeles in May!. It will be my second time with Floor and I cannot wait to see her on stage again! After I see Nightwish for the 4th time, they will be the band I have seen in concert the most. Right now, Nightwish and Foo Fighters are tied at 3 concerts apiece. But before Nightwish is BTS in Vegas for me! Two f**cking awesome shows in two months! Nightwish will be in London on Nov 21 and Birmingham on Nov 22nd! You gotta go and see them! Both Bands that is! Hopefully, BTS will announce a world tour soon! Make sure you are in the BTS Army fan club. We get first dibs on tickets.

When I talk about Nightwish to people that don't know the band, they think I'm exaggerating about everything. I'm really not though. They really are that talented, they really are that good on stage, they really do tickle all your emotions, they really do keep amazing you. The subjects of their songs are great; from fantasy and literature to evolution and astronomy. And I always like to brag that there's a list of scientific discoveries named after them and their songs. Nightwish IS next level.
Bloodstock 2008 was headlined by Nightwish with Anette as vocalist, which is why it was probably unmemorable for you. Next up should be "7 Days to the Wolves - Live at Wembley" or "Song of Myself - Wacken".

I have the same feeling about Nightwish you have. I heard them about a year ago and have been a big fan since. I haven't been to a concert since I saw Jethro Tull live in 1978, but I'm going to a Nightwish concert in May. I may be the oldest person in the crowd, but I'm going to have a blast.
No I’m the elderly here, Steve!! Love that you have seen Tull in concert! For sure the 5th top concert I ever went to-and I’ve been to sooo many concerts!! He played his flute, I kid you not, for a whole hour! So awesome! 🎵😎
The gold standard for live Nightwish is the Wacken 2013 show. Everything from this show is just perfectly amazing. Storytime, Song Of Myself, Ever Dream, Dark Chest Of Wonders, Last Ride of the Day…just to name a few. Then there’s the Tampere and Wembley shows; it just never ends.
I'm not sure if this song was in a movie, but their song "Wish I Had an Angel" was used for the move Alone in the Dark.
Loving the reactions! Started from PTX and saw your reactions for Jinjer, and now Nightwish (part of my high-school/uni days!).
I looked through your past reactions and am disappointed to see no reactions to Within Temptation songs, and to The HU - Wolf Totem. The HU are a Mongolian band so if you do listen to them, they have captioned subtitles. I recommend both Wolf Totem (69mil views) and Yuve Yuve Yu (94mil views)

Wonderful Band Nightwish. In the Netherlands we also have his symphonic metal band that is also very good. Their name is Within Temptation and they have been active since 1996, check out their first hit ice queen

Just discovered your videos and watching your face drop with the sheer beauty of NW's music and Floor's ability. She makes it look so simple. Most female artists in the charts don't have a tenth of Floor's ability or skill.
Nemo is one of the "old" Nightwish songs, it's been on their play set for about 20 years. Chances are they played it at the festival to which you went. :) It might have been with a previous vocalist though, because Floor wasn't with them 10 years ago (joined them in the fall 2012).
For suggestions of things to watch: follow the list that Gabriel Bardac posts. His post (which I am sure he left, either here or on your first reaction) may have been classes as spam because it's so long. Look it up and un-spam it.
And as for watching them live, this performance was from the show they had at Wembley Arena in 2015. They will play again there in November of this year, and I have tickets. Maybe I'll see you there.

You need to check out the original version of Nemo, this particular song sounds good with Tarja's opera voice. It was the most popular song by the band when it came out originally
You take ANY song of the Wacken concert you know you CAN'T be wrong.
It's probably one of their best performances and the mix quality is amazing.

I stand by the comment i left your last Nightwish video: "Yours is an empty hope" is something that will blow your mind further (yes, with them that's always possible). Hope you hear it, if not - most of their songs are incredible, so anything is a good choice really. Have a great one, dude!

1. Storytime from Wacken 2013 concert.
2. Nightwish - I Want My Tears Back (Floor Jansen) [Decades - Live In Buenos Aires 2019], though the video is really from 2018 concert.
Nemo might also be the most commercial song Nightwish has ever had. I remember its music video playing on MTV and on our Belgian music channel TMF back in its day. It was this period when they were dubbed as a 'gothic' band along with the likes of Within Temptation, Evanescence etc, when they were first becoming popular at that time. I love the fresh spin Floor gives to this song :)
