I think one thing that stands out with board game club is even when you have no idea what's going on in the game you still have a lovely time
This is probably the best BGC yet:

So Adam’s road to 22 victories started well last week when he was the only player not to win, let’s see how he kicks on today
It's going great. Perfect. Right on track.
We need a win loss tracker or a little Adam picture moving closer to monopoly with every loss.
On further review, Jon Gracey didn't win either because his personal goal was to have more cards than anyone else, and Adam finished with more cards. But either way, Adam definitely lost.

Honestly this is my favourite boardgame playing channel now, i used to love tabletop on geek and sundry until will left, tried watching the new ones and also other channels on youtube but none of them had that vibe of just friends playing boardgames. Your playthrough radiates so much energy that me and my friends have when we play and i gotta say just keep it up and thanks for the laughs and enjoyment!

Realistically I didn't know how I was going to feel about this game...but god damn it if you all didn't win me over! Especially Jon with his incredibly lucky roll, and the last one-on-one battle between Jon and Tom. Keep up the great work!

There have been two BGC episodes in 2022. Adam is 0-2 so far. He has set his personal challenge for 22 wins in 2022 or else he will record himself playing 5 games of Monopoly in a row. There might be some doomsayers here in the comments, but he's just getting the early shakes out before his world-shattering winning streak starts. (Hopefully soon)

All this dice rolling brought back memories of Bang! The Dice Game. I'd love to see you guys play that version of Bang, with any combination of the expansions. Never timed a game specifically, but I'd guess you guys could fit two evolutions of the game on one video, like you did with Whitechapel Mystery

I recently found a solo variant for this game. Besides me forgetting to add a victory point when a monster goes into Tokyo, it went really well. It's very, very satisfiying to roll those chunky dice
I love King of Tokyo and King of New York my friend has all the expansions for KoT. I’m sure this is gonna a great episode
If you get down to less than three players, you can really spam Wings for the win. Sit in Tokyo, roll energy and ignore damage from one or two attacks, add two victory a turn till the win.
But you have to get down to less than four players, get in Tokyo, and have the batteries work out.
Rosie is an absolute delight in every video she is in.

One of my favorite games, but this video made me do research and realize reprints changed the "first player entering Tokyo" rule. My version still says that you have to roll a claw to get in. Also, this is the *first* time I've seen anyone get the King Roll after buying that card.
Absolutely amazing game, and I was having a blast watching you play it!
Perhaps you should try "King of the Coaster" someday! :) Same rules, but with beer, and of course, a coaster in place of Tokyo :D For every hit you take, you take a sip of your chosen beverage, and whenever you spent more that 7 cubes, you also need to pay a shot :D Would be hillarious to see you guys try that on House Rules! (but please, do drink responsible! ;)

Because I'm a giant nerd, I calculated the odds. Or more accurately, the probability.
The probability of satisfying the condition of the card (1, 2, 3, claw, energy, heart) given the rules of the game (three rolls per die) and no additional dice is a respectable 24.8%. Not actually all that impressive. Assuming you spent every round TRYING specifically to activate that card, you'd be more likely than not to have achieved that after three rounds.
However, the probability of doing specifically what he did (getting all but one die correct in the first roll, followed by the final one being correct after a second roll) is a much more impressive 2.8%. For reference, it would take 25 rounds before you'd be more likely than not to have achieved that specific roll.
So what are the odds? 141:4859 (approximately 1:34) for that specific outcome.
The real Tokyo was the friends we utterly annihilated along the way.

The way I always explain attacks to new players is like playing king of the mountain as a kid. If your on the mountain, you attack everyone else and they attack you. Tokyo is the mountain. Easy peasy.
