One tip to work with super flexible people (from personal experience) - working with gravity, deliberately create resistance in the body. e.g. in prasarita C - palms together prevent hyperextension of elbow; in supta padangustasana, hips square, tailbone down and straight leg flexed (simulating standing on the floor); in danurasana (or all backbends really), feet and knees together and tailbone extended forces the chest / upper back to work harder
lunar1970 Stu specialises in anatomy, but I've seen Stu interview this guy before and I've felt he's hard work to interview. Stu is really good though.
fascia is the reason for people: - doing tattoos (stimulating fascia under skin) - alcohol drinking (relaxation) - smoking (fascia stretching back as defence mechanism) - earring and any kind of harm that we do to a body in a form of artistic or regular way - religion praying styles, energies systems:kundalini, qi, holy spirit - clothes, hats - sports - a lot more:)
He definitely knows his yoga... But hé Aldo definitely nerfs to get up to date on scientific research. He is asserting his "opinions" as facts... And it is vastly missing info
What is your experience? I sincerely want to know. I am coming to certain conclusions about fascia that not many are, but you may have information I have not yet encountered.
well, at the moment it is restructuring my body. I guess when you don't know what's happening you go to the doctor and you are diagnosed with Parkinson etc. There is no Parkinson. And fascia is basically based on pressure management mechanisms. It is very potent but interfere with thinking on the level of neural network.
