After all these years I am still amazed at what I don’t know.
The basic concepts of jazz are not difficult if you understand the rudimentary concepts of music theory. But I wouldn’t see it unless someone else pointed it out to me. Thanks Mike.
Keep it coming, this style of teaching is invaluable for the overall outcome.

Hey Mike, thank you again for another great video. Especially the discussion about weight and density. I think you are the first youtube guitar creator to share this aspect of music in a specific context. I say that this is an overlooked concept that helps guitar sound/style practice as much as learning the "Harris Sound" method.

Great reharmonization! This sounds very much like Django and the gypsy jazz style. Thanks for the video!

I'm glad you enjoyed the reharmonization! Django's influence is truly timeless, and it's always fun to explore that gypsy jazz vibe.

Thank Mike. Excellent info. Is the idea of using B7 in bar six because the B7 is the V of the E7 which follows ?

Hello Jeremy, yes, you are correct the idea is to create a cycle movement e.g., B7 - E7 - A All the very best. Mike
