Karen, you have gotten so good at explaining things! You seem more relaxed than a few years ago. What a good job you do and you work so darn hard. You deserve every good thing that comes your way.
Real Shea butter is yellow, pasty and greasy with a nutty smell. Refined(Stripped of color) is white, hard and scentless. I use both....depends on what i'm making.
Thank you so much. I love your sense of humor (you can tell I am from US, no "u"!), the time you take to explain in detail and your love for what you do! I will try to make these as X-mas gifts.
*Karen, I so enjoy all of your video's! Your luxurious products are high quality and made with so much love! You're one my few favorite TOP soaper's who do video's for us. Fabulous work, hun!* Hugz, Tree
Love this, was actually thinking of making some of these. I’ve been going through some health issues so no longer an active soap maker, breaks my heart I loved it so much. Thank you for this I will make a small batch for my hubby and family. Thx for all you do it’s so refreshing seeing you do videos. So glad your better. Omg would love one of yours. 💜💜💜💜💜
Hi liezl rubio. I'm from the Philippines. It's hot here most of the time but people still need moisturizers which are not sticky and are aesthetically appealing. I would really like to follow your recipe. I've been learning a lot from your videos on soap making, which I have been watching for more than a year now. I love your designs especially your cupcake soaps. Thanks for sharing your knowledge to us. May more blessings come your way.
You are my super hero ~ I’m very new to all this ~ making them for gifts ~ LOVE your down to earth attitude and allllll the educational information you share ~ I’m hooked and subscribed !!! Lol Thank you 🙏🏻
Karen it's super satisfying watching you cut up the cocoa butter I love anything like that especially soap being grated.😍 I look forward to making this I will also let you know how it comes out. I don't have Facebook I only have RUclips so I can't even watching any help classes. I have signed up for you to be my patron and look forward to making lots of your recipes. I know this is massage bars ATM that my bath bombs are really powdery,😭 and my finger would just keep taken layers and layers from it. Could I have put in too much oil because my mix was beautiful like that sand you can play with so I don't know where I'm going wrong. Also is this where I speak to you or is there a private part that I speak to you I haven't a clue what I'm doing with technology sorry now back to your video!🌹🦋🌹 jules xx
Barak, helps the community and seems like a great place to get it cuz all of the money after expense goes to Ghana and that community. Its 30$ for 5 pounds and it looks like that you have I bought Shea from E depot. And its soft and I'm. It seems to be okay but I'm recently learning that all butters and oils are not created the same I've been making my own mango and sunflower oil and rice bran oil. And planting..like crazy lots of infusion and I have to make my own soap stamp, but it is what it is.. I love your Pyrex bowls, I wish I could afford them, thank u!
Such a wonderfully informative video, I learned so much from just this one but now I've watched several of your lotion bars and body butter videos, they are all fabulous but commenting is difficult for me as my computer is broken for now. I can get RUclips on my TV but can't comment there....I must go another place and find the video again....you work so hard. I am convinced there are 10 of you there, I can't see even a Genie in a bottle getting everything done that you do. And maintain their calm and cheerful demeanor...I feel I'm there with you as you're bustling about, getting it done and turning out the beautifully luscious products that you do. I know I tend to go on, we "southern bells" can't seem to put the brakes on once we get started, sorry!!! Just one more little thing please.....don't listen to anyone who says "don't talk so much"....I love your talking, please don't change a thing about your presentations, I adore all of them. Thank you, sorry so long.
Hey Karen! I love this recipe and how easy it is to just smooth on the body. I like using this type of recipe that has bee's wax included, in the big twist tubes. Very convenient to be able to twist up the product, use and then roll back down and have a secure twist cap on it too. The bee's wax bars are great in creating a barrier on the skin and holds up so well to a lot of hand washings while keeping in the moisture. The bars I make without bee's wax, I also add Mango butter, coconut oil and a small bit of cornstarch to help with the greasy feel. I love your special touch with the rose buds...so pretty! Looking forward to the whipped butter next. Loving this content...Big ((Hugs)) and Love from Texas!! xoxoxo : )
@@EdensSecret1 I've seen them on Amazon but have purchased them at Wholesale Supplies Plus, sometimes will find a better price in a bigger quantity. I love them. The 2.2 oz is the twist and there is a 1 oz "push up" that I love too. They have a newer version of the "push up" that twists too, I haven't used them so can't give a review. I will put "links below" from Amazon for ya. You might check with WSP to see if they might be having a sale going on too. I'm a container fanatic...I just can't get enough of them. LOL They have come out with so many smaller tubes like for lip gloss etc that are so cute, it's hard to resist! LOL wink wink ; ) Have a wonderful day!! xoxo : )
@@EdensSecret1 I just realized you said you were looking "at" them....not "for" them. LOL I guess I need another cup of coffee this morning so my eyes will open up more! LOL ; ) xoxo
Hello Karen, so I’ve been watching you for quite some time now and I have to say I absolutely love and enjoy watching your videos. I think they’re super informative and I’ve learned a lot from you. So thank you very much for that. Also I don’t think you talk a lot I absolutely enjoy listening to you. So from my side over here just keep on top 😉🐻🤗😃
Beautiful bars. I've used my calculator and figured the percentages so I can make a test bar. The butter and wax ratios are a little high for my liking. I will report back wity how it feels❤
I like how you explain everything and that you show the work. I'm new to this but you have helped me understand it better thanks. Love that Cleopatra soap!
I think I will try a smaller version of this recipe this week! I'm trying to get a good recipe for bars to give to nurses. I live in Arizona in the US and it's 100F and higher around this time of year. So far most are too oily and get nasty with the heat.
I love your videos! I adore your heart and the way you say butter and vitamin... so lovely!!! Thank you so much for sharing and can't wait to try one!💗
Karen l love all your makes videos. Ive made the Aleppo soap which has turned out a gorgeous green, does it stay that green or turn brown. I made it 4 weeks ago. Can l ask if you would make a Lip balm please? all the things of yours ive made have turned out so lovely and rich that I'm sure you must make a quality Lip balm.
Thank you for this beautiful recipe. Great to see you back .I'd listen to you all day .you should do classes online on udemy 😘 you have a very nice way about you .thank you .warm wishing to you and yours in these times .🇮🇪☘💕
These are super cute! I always appreciate you sharing your recipes. Thank you so much for Sharing as always! I love anything that will make my dry skin soft. Look forward to part 2
These look gorgeous! That Shea butter looks delightfully creamy. I think I need to try gracefruit instead of where I get mine as mine looks much more grainy than yours! Thank you for sharing the recipe 💕
Hello! I saw your earlier video of solid body butter and it didn’t have any oil in it. Just cocoa butter and Shea butter and beeswax. Any benefit of changing it please. Enjoyed making those!
when the virus is over try a KD8000 scale (and adapter) from Amazon. most soapers in Americause it. you will have to see if it meets your needs. it is about $40 American plus the adapter.
Shea butter and Cocoa are very beautiful beautiful butters, I love the smell of organic Cocobutter. This bar looks very luxurious especially as we are going into our Autumn/Winter. Kitchen Aid make the best products in the world in my opinion. Thank you for sharing your recipe for us to make.
Hi Karen, do you know of anywhere that the Graceroot Shea Butter can be purchased in the USA…..I totally agree with the cheaper version of Shea Butter is soft…I have just purchased some and it is exactly that way….no good for lotion bars…so mad…mad my bar soft and a bit greasy.Thank you, Lynn
Love the moulds but sadly doesnt ship to the UK 😥 I'm having a hard time trying to find moulds so I can make different shape bath bombs or wax melts instead of the ball bath bombs
I love "Solid Body Butter" for the name, I used the name lotion bars, but you are right a lot of times they don't understand lotion bars or massage bars, I usually would tell them its like lip balm for the body or chap stick for the body LOL, I will be using Solid Body Butters from now on, I will have to do less explaining, love your video's keep up the good work.....
I agree, too many people ask me what they are, that's why I changed from massage bar to solid body butter, but I can't stop saying massage bar, lol. Good idea on the description.
Karen, you have gotten so good at explaining things! You seem more relaxed than a few years ago. What a good job you do and you work so darn hard. You deserve every good thing that comes your way.
Those looks so luxurious! I have had a Pyrex pan explode on me before. It ruined a dinner that I spent 2 hours preparing and an hour and half cooking.
Aww Sarah you poor thing
Good thing they have life time guarantee. I was more upset about the dinner being wasted than the pan itself.
I had a Pyrex baking pan explode in my oven with a lasagna in it once. That was not pleasant.
Love your videos, thank you!
Love the way the butters looks. The Shea looks like a creamy block of cheese.Be blessed!
Thank you!
Diana here: Thank you for your knowledge, and I appreciate your time to give your recipe to all of us.
Love your solid body butters. I have all the supplies to make them, but have never tried. You inspire me.
I just absolutely love you. You sound like my granny from northern Ireland. She passed in 1998.
Aww thanks I hope you stick around. Your Grandma sounds so sweet
I love how descriptive you are. It’s very helpful for those of us that have no idea what we’re doing. Love your videos!!

My old blender isn't broken yet, but John suggested I start using the new one, because of the warranty.

Lovely! I add arrowroot powder to cut the greasiness and like to play with different butters.
Interesting... I love the greasiness.
