My brother was diagnosed with MS last year and it was rough on the whole family. He's on medication , eats healthy and exercises like a mad man. He's doing great. I was so happy when i saw this.
I used to own a 1961 Jag XK 150 with the first 3.8 liter engine. It was gun metal grey with a red leather interior. Sold it way too soon! Boy do I miss that car!
Awesome looking car! I've always like Jaguars of the 1950s and the 1960s. I love the way this car was built. This Jaguar actually looks like a comfortable race car to drive every day. I've seen race cars that are so small, that even if you could fit comfortably inside the cockpit, getting into the car can be a challenge. This race car looks comfortable. Thanks for posting. :)
Kudos to him for being involved with the MS car shows. I have secondary progressive MS, and can’t drive again. I get to dream through your sit Jay. I am 57, old retired symphony orchestra musician. I’ve had many a classic car back in the day. Thank you again for spotlighting this amazing 120 custom.
I love this car because I am doing something very similar with my 1966 Mustang. I am trying to modify it as much as possible while keeping the mods as 60's vintage as possible. Building your own hotrod is so much fun because you can do anything you want. I feel blessed to be living so many people's dream at such a young age...
Wooooooooooo. That's a car. Love the sound of that thing on the road. Jason Len does amazing work. It's also very cool Jay Leno, big star, knows how to drive on ordinary streets just as if he was an ordinary person. :) Very cool.
Bare aluminum bodies are my favorite. I enjoy good paint work a lot but that metal in a brushed look from hand forming on the E Wheel speaks to my heart. This car is a stunner
Love the sound!!!!!!, I was.working at a very cool machine shop many years ago. Someone brought in a Jag 6 cylinder head and told us to surface it. Needless to say we found out the hard way that you aren't supposed to surface them because of many reasons. I'm glad it was my boss and not me that had to fix it! Re bore for the cams, but new installed height for the valves, also the complete rebuild! Wow 40 plus years ago and I still remember that lesson.
I love the old Jaguars. One of my Dad's solders had an old Jaguar with the V12 and I adjusted the valves for him once. I never got the chance to work on or even drive any of the I6 engines. I am still young though so who knows? All the really great car's are owed by very old men that almost never drive them and would never let a young man like me near them let alone drive them!!!! In fact the greatest obstacle in this hobby is old men with more money then brains that see these cars as investments or museum pieces!Kind of hard to learn anything or experince anything when anyone under the age of 60 is shut out of the hobby! Most of the hobbies I enjoy are like this. Does not matter if it is fine musical instruments, antique rifles or antique cars I just need to wait for enough older men to die from heart disease or cancer so I can enjoy the hobby. That and you have to hope another old man that will has more money then brains will not snatch up said object and lock it up in his private collection never again to let that object see the light of day let alone be used. To say I hate collectors is almost accurate since few of them have any intention of sharing their collection or letting anything be used. Car's where meant to be driven not to be turned into trailer queens!
I almost feel guilty for mentioning this, but can Jay Leno's crew start capturing this in Full HD. I love the production value on this show, as well as Jay's will to share what he loves with people who are passionate about the same thing. I just know that adding some resolution to the show would make it really nice as well as making it future proof. Jay I have watched almost everything you got on this channel and through your eclectic tastes and broad enthusiasm I have expanded my range of cars and knowledge. This is without a doubt why we all keep coming back. We just honestly don't know what we will see next week. Thanks for giving your perspective and access to some of the most exclusive and commonly collected cars int he world.
These videos have come a long way in a few years! Nice to see that throughout, the information has always been useful, with lots of details. Love this series.
JAY! You should totally get the roadkill guys on for an episode with one or two of their roadkill cars! I vote the crusher camaro and the general mayhem! It would be good cross promotion for both channels! MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL! I love both channels.
I occasionally have lunch with a bunch of motorcycle guys and Jason is often there. Did a motorcycle ride with about 37 other bikes last Sunday and Jason rode too. He's a nice guy. I was looking at a Jag sedan some years back and he offered to check it out before I bought it. He gave me some ideas of what could be troublesome and I decided not to buy the car after driving it based on the info he gave me.
Mad skills on the part of Mr. Len. Much respect!..........Am I the only one picturing Buddy Palumbo thrashing this cross country from NY to Elkhart Lake to deliver it in time for a 1950's race meet?
Wow!!! I have had some experience driving ,SPRITES , MIDGETS & MGA's on road courses. THIS WAS REALLY EXCITING!!! and brought back memories of open top race cars!!! Thanks for the excitement and memories of my times past racing British sports cars.
Love the look and sound of that jag glorious car excellent work and great show some people may find fault and nit pick Jay but his efforts bring cars to light that wouldn't be seen otherwise what must be understood when you watch this show is he is helping the car hobby flourish by bringing out these vehicles that would normally not be seen . Jay thank you for what do I eagerly look forward to each new show god bless
Beautiful job, this could be my favorite car of the Garage. How can you not love the classic windshields and roll cage? The long and low front end reminds me of the Tex Avery cartoons, the wolf would be driving a Jag-like sports car and of course it would bend around turns. The acceleration sounds, wow
This show is very enjoyable and full of passionate guests. I really like the variety of car cultures that you and your team have assembled for this channel. I am curious whether you might be featuring a DeLoran in one of your future episodes. Best regards from South Korea
yes, for me, one of main things about the road tests that Jay does, is that the cars he drives on the local roads can be compared with all the "generic", CAD designed, boring clones that other people buy to impress the neighbours. For some modern cars the only thing that distinguishes them is the badge.
Beautiful car and craftsmanship (even w/ the ironic hose @ 5:09). This is a pretty old video, though they just re-uploaded it. I wish there was a cheaper way to build something like this w/ the XJ-S', because I passed on a 3 of them for only a couple hundred bucks in past years. Lucas wiring and the cost of replacement parts keep me away, but even if somebody rolled up with a low dollar Jag rat rod, I would be elated. The V12 even with an auto (I think they came w/ TH400's at some point) would be more impressive than most of the LSX swaps I've seen lately, and I own two LS powered vehicles. Stupid economy, but I would love to see more off the wall hero's like this. Very 'Built' even though it seems to irk on the 'bought' side with the costs associated. Much respect.
Petitions never actually accomplish anything. They could shitcan the new yorker for Jay though and it would make me happy. Tanner and Rutledge are interesting enough.
Why should he lower himself to Top Gear? Jay's show is SOOO much better than Top Gear...any Top Gear. In Jay's Garage "the cars are the stars." He showcases the pleasure in every car but doesn't shy away from discussing some of their warts. Jay is a true fan of ALL cars, unlike TG UK. To them, ALL American cars will always be rubbish. Pick-ups are stupid. Japanese cars suck! Hybrids are impotent. Electrics ridiculous. Blah, Blah, Blah. These days, TG UK is more about how childish, idiotic and insulting May, Hammond and Clarkson can be. While Jay's documentation will be valued for all time, TG UK's relevance will decay, like three spoiled Spotted Dicks left sitting in the sun. NO! Jay is exactly where he should be!
I totally saw Bernard today on the 210 Eastbound in his Flxible Starliner and trailer. At least I think that was him.Regardless, it was pretty exciting! Made my day!
Matt Farah is terrible. If his fake laughter when driving doesnt annoy you, maybe the fact that he is constantly reminding us that he is jewish and how special and superior jewish people are.
love the cars jay im buying a big 24 bay garage and am going to fill it with old cars and keep them clean and running good just like you man you're an inspiration.
Can you say Wind Screens on the mic's? Very Cool Car, even cooler with having Hand Made Body Panels... WELL DONE Mr. Jason Len.... very well done indeed.
There are quite a number of very nice replicas out there. This is one of the best I've seen. Authenticity isn't the driving issue though, it's a replica. That doesn't have to suggest a "clone." This car has features from several different racing Jaguars throughout the '50s and I think the result is really beautiful. I'm not judging it as a candidate for Pebble Beach... that's not the intent. It's based on a classic, gorgeous car with more power from period-correct engine and it's 1,000 lbs lighter! Power-to-weight ratios matter and this example is a perfect subject for that conversation. If you can make it 1,000 lbs lighter, you don't need an extra couple of hundred horsepower to make you sit up and hang on!! I just wish I could find the trick to make my 2001 BMW 330xi, with a really nice 3 liter straight six, sound like that straight six!! That would be soooo nice!
Certainly a real passion project and what a jaguar enthusiast/purist could appreciate.
I love the sound it makes. I would drive that car through every tunnel I could find just to listen to it over and over.
The talent to be able to hand form all that-Amazing. The front of that car was breathtaking. The sound was incredible too..
the sound alone is epic, timeless piece built with absolute passion, traits of what perfect is

To be able to build a frame like that, and the body panels, that's awesome. Kudos!
P.S. What I love about you Jay is that you share your collection with the world and you actually drive your cars!
Awesome looking car! I've always like Jaguars of the 1950s and the 1960s. I love the way this car was built. This Jaguar actually looks like a comfortable race car to drive every day. Fantastic !!! Work Of Art.
I have a British 2002 Thunderbird and just love it. The power is amazing. And handling is just beautiful.
so cool, I love any Jaguar of that period; but a hot rodded one is sick
More like this please! What a lovely engine. That car is a peach.
Wooooooooooo. That's a car. Love the sound of that thing on the road. Jason Len does amazing work. It's also very cool Jay Leno, big star, knows how to drive on ordinary streets just as if he was an ordinary person. :) Very cool.
Awesome sounding motor on that Jag. The world could use more cars like this! Long live the straight six.
I love the sound of this car. Actually I like everything about it.
Bare aluminum bodies are my favorite. I enjoy good paint work a lot but that metal in a brushed look from hand forming on the E Wheel speaks to my heart. This car is a stunner
Thanks for putting the older videos on the YT channel. Would love to hear that car with the upgraded video / sound equipment you guys use today.
The sound of the Jaguar Straight six is fantastic, like 1/2 of a Rolls-Royce Merlin. This is what a Jaguar factory race car would be like. Thanks Jay.
I love the old Jaguars. One of my Dad's solders had an old Jaguar with the V12 and I adjusted the valves for him once.
I never got the chance to work on or even drive any of the I6 engines. I am still young though so who knows?

This is a real Masterpiece of a sporster! The sound is fantastic
These videos have come a long way in a few years! Nice to see that throughout, the information has always been useful, with lots of details. Love this series.
That is one of the coolest cars I have ever seen, cant get enough of that engine sound.
Jag's in-line DOHC 6 is mechanical art and Jason you really gilded this lily. Fantastic project.
JAY! You should totally get the roadkill guys on for an episode with one or two of their roadkill cars! I vote the crusher camaro and the general mayhem! It would be good cross promotion for both channels! MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL! I love both channels.
That car is absolutely stunning!
the sound of that engine, fantastic,
What a fabulous sounding vehicle - and with the right flag on the cockpit :0)
Neat car and some great engineering and hand made craftsmanship! Thanks Jay!
Sounds like a British Sportscar. Puts a smile on my face every time you opened it up a bit. :)
Very nice segment Jay. Superb Jag, it is truly a dream car, especially the engine sound at high revs.
Really love seeing just how far this series has come. Looks so rough compared to today's episodes.
Love the sound of that straight six from inside the car, epic.
This is thee first car that he’s reviewed that I Love everything about it
Not a jag person myself but mum and dad live their XJ6 80's model but this things sounds beautiful.
I occasionally have lunch with a bunch of motorcycle guys and Jason is often there. Did a motorcycle ride with about 37 other bikes last Sunday and Jason rode too. He's a nice guy. Outstanding! Thank you Jay for letting us see the world of cars, the way that they are meant to be seen. . . Running, running Fast!
Wow what a great car! That tubular frame under a classic body is just FTW!!!!!
This is an old video. But I am glad to see that they are trying to make sure all videos from the old website are on RUclips.
That engine is a work of art!
I like the exhaust placement. I might've done it a little different, but I still like it
Love Jason Len's Jaguars.
Learned to drive in a '53 120m.
The sound still gives me goose bumps.
That Jag Growl is Amazing !
Jay obviously LOVES the car.... and frankly, I can see myself in it just as it is!
Mad skills on the part of Mr. Len. Much respect!..........Am I the only one picturing Buddy Palumbo thrashing this cross country from NY to Elkhart Lake to deliver it in time for a 1950's race meet?
This car is so beautiful...
What a great car. That guy does top notch work.
Thanks Jay, for sharing what real car fun is all about.
Aways amazed to see Jay driving something like this with no eye protection.
Wow!!! I have had some experience driving ,SPRITES , MIDGETS & MGA's on road courses. THIS WAS REALLY EXCITING!!! and brought back memories of open top race cars!!! Thanks for the excitement and memories of my times past racing British sports cars.
I'd really like.to see a new episode on this car. Absolutely beautiful!
There's something about 50's & 60's Brit bikes and cars, that actually work, that's irresistible.
What a glorious noise that Jag makes.
After a 2nd watch of that clip I have to say that engine/exhaust package is just sensational.
What a great sound that thing makes lol.
Oh come on! It has been hot rodded but it is not a hot rod. It is an "outlaw Jaguar". Such an incredible build.
Go Jay ,a legend driving a legend.
Gorgeous and unbelievable sound.
This show is very enjoyable and full of passionate guests. I really like the variety of car cultures that you and your team have assembled for this channel. I am curious whether you might be featuring a DeLoran in one of your future episodes. Best regards from South Korea
Somebody spent a lot of cash on that. It really brings out the passion for car modifiying/restoration. Well done.
That was a very nice surprise for a Friday morning thanks Jay.:)
Wow looks and sounds amazing
The builder is Genius
So much more class than most cars today.

Can someone petition for this guy to be put on TopGear?
He is to good for Top Gear USA, he would look out of place and he would not fit in Top Gear UK.
Petitions never actually accomplish anything. They could shitcan the new yorker for Jay though and it would make me happy. Tanner and Rutledge are interesting enough.
He has appeared on Top Gear UK as a guest
Whoops, I meant Top Gear in the U.S.

Superb & I particularly like the room inside available to the driver.
I totally saw Bernard today on the 210 Eastbound in his Flxible Starliner and trailer. At least I think that was him.Regardless, it was pretty exciting! Made my day!
that thing as inboard breaks! WOW! Amazing!
Wow, is that thing beautiful, what great lines.
Goggles Jay, especially on the freeway! You know, a vintage aviator pair to go with the car!
Wow, that is an insane frame/suspension. Awesome!
Jay and Matt Farah should be on Top Gear USA
farah is horrible
natrone23
Jay Leno and Chris Harris. Top Gear International :-)
natrone23
I didn't like Matt at first, but now I think he's a cool guy.
Matt Farah is terrible. If his fake laughter when driving doesnt annoy you, maybe the fact that he is constantly reminding us that he is jewish and how special and superior jewish people are.
farah without the glasses would be tolerable
The sound, the sound! What ever, call me a geek, but that L6 engine... WOW
I`m in love! I would get rid of those exposed exhausts though. The rest of the car is amazing! Thanks for letting us see it Jay.
Absolutely love everything about it.
love the cars jay im buying a big 24 bay garage and am going to fill it with old cars and keep them clean and running good just like you man you're an inspiration.
Sweet car. I love Jason's work.
Two vids in a week?! Fantastic stuff!!!
Yum yum...now THAT'S driving.
Great vid Jay,that is just the sort of stuff we love.
Thanks!
Stunning car! And that sound
JAY drove it ..like he stole it! Great Car.....Great Pilot!
Drop dead gorgeous automobile
Wow... just Wow. That was wonderful.
That thing is SICK.
Thanks for posting.
Can you say Wind Screens on the mic's?
Very Cool Car, even cooler with having Hand Made Body Panels... WELL DONE Mr. Jason Len.... very well done indeed.
I fell in love with this car... it's amazing!! Congratulations!

Love that Jay was able to get clarification about his warranty confirmed on camera lol legend 😂
Wow that was such a gorgeous car and it sounded incredible. Great video Jay.
JAY LENO HAVE IMPRESSIVE CAR SHOW
For the most part I feel like the most confident builders are the one who let jay just take the car and review it without going for the drive.
Now that's a Jag!. It wouldn't be hard to picture this at LeMans.
That guy does impeccable work. That thing sure sounds sweet when ya step on it. Great video of a very cool car.
