I saw Lindsey's review, and with the water in it, it looked a little dicey while she was holding it in her hand. I kept expecting it to go everywhere. Looking forward to your take on it! :)
Right!? I watched her video and wondered if I could get away with slightly less water than she did. We'll see! I should have bright a washer brush, too, but I didn't. Oh well.
With the micro palette, I’ve seen people clip it right to their sketchbook, using that thumbclip on the back, and hanging the water cup part over the top edge of the book.
Yes, I've done that myself a few times with this palette now - it works great!

What a cute little set, and I love the bag it comes in! It's nice that they send out extra pans as well. You should definitely get some Sennelier paints! 😆😍 I remember travelling......lol.
Yes, I have this bug in my head now that won't leave me alone about getting some Sennelier paint now, lol. I am grateful that they still let us travel here, although my house DOES need a lot of work, lol. But I can do that later, right? :-D
You can clip the micro palette in your sketchbook, a wing clipped, perhaps the smallest wing, and thats the lid, itd be great for lap paintings ^^
Yes! I saw Teoh do that and I thought that was such a great idea! Unfortunately, I watched his video AFTER I made mine, lol.

Hi Miranda I've just received mine I ordered from Jacksons art in the UK. It came without a bag or spare pans so don't know if it's only Jacksons or everywhere. Perhaps they have changed it or it could be just the UK but still love it
Ah, how fun! I know on the Portable Painter website and on Amazon (in the US), there are two options - one with just the Palette itself (thought it still came with a bag, though), and then the one with the extra pans. So maybe Jackson's just has the one option. So glad you love it! It's a really fun little palette, as long as you don't actually need to put water in it, lol.
I remember watching one of your videos, i cant recall the exact video tho, but may I ask? Why dont you like winsor professional? I'm planning to get professional tubes and ive been wondering why watercolorists dont like winsor professional or cotman
I don't feel that the W&N paints are as pigmented as other brands. Plus, if you dry them in pans, they're much harder to re-wet than the other paints I've used.
