- These are my cars in this classic game called Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit. I've added some cars from nfscars.net + the 4 official downloadable cars and the 2 Australian Bonus Cars (Lister Storm, Jaguar XKR, Spectre R42, Ferrari 456M GT, HSV VT GTS and Ford Falcon GT). Enjoy the video!

This game is one juicy delicious classic
For a game made in 1998 it has tons of mod support just like Halo CE and Half-Life this is why I love old games.
My first nfs i owned,
Corvette C5, F40, countach and Diablo SV are my favorites.
I didn't know they had a f40

Just noticed that the Corvette in this game has a gas cap on both sides, haha.
Yeah interface is very cool, now I can create a game like NFS, but I picked 3D action with humanoids, probably I will add vehicles in a future or create some racing game prototype. UE4 is very good engine. 1998 interface - better than Crysis 1

@@jdcp8976 I've decided to create my own gaming platform (more like Battle net or Rockstars social club), 3D engine and operating system based on freeBSD. We expect war in the Eastern Europe, or even worse - World War 3. So, Unreal Engine could be used for a prototyping and creating small projects under 100k and 1kk equivalent to US dollars, but the higher numbers will cause some license problems, this is why there is no other way, but engine/OS creation
Uff, These are really futuristic music.
I tested like 100 cars on first track (Hometown) to find out the FASTEST. testing was accomplished if I didn't do any mistake and got best of the car. best lap time had Ferrari F300 (formula). I didn't count these flying objects and so on. remember Italdesing Velocity GTR was awesome to drive. yeah, good memories....

It was based on the Pontiac Banshee concept and was featured in NFS 2...
I don't even have FZR, Ford, Lotus, Nissan, Porsche, or Subaru cars. I don't use that big of a roster for cars. I filled up my roster with some cars of the already existing types but to make them versatile at least 3-4 of them are available. I'm totally surprised that you don't have Lamborghini Aventador. One of the most badass cars in nfscars.net.

Yes after all Need for speed series started in 1994, yes 4 years before you where born. Thats why you and your genration have no clue what happend before 2000, so you see NFS was not allways about NOS and tuning.
nfscars.net doesn't have the cars for nfs 3: hp. Also, where did u get the official dlc cars?

I downloaded several cars and put them into the carmodel folder but none of them show up in the game :( Most cars only came with the file car.viv - what am I missing?

Question: If I were to finally get a working Windows 95 computer and copy of this game, and download extra cars from the web on my laptop, how can I transfer them over?
Go to your NFS3 folder, then gamedata, carmodel. Inside that folder just put your downloaded cars folder and that's it.
NFS2SE3HP4HS8U2 Well, that definitely helps. I was wondering what kind of media would be best suited for transferring game data from a modern laptop to a mid-to-late 90’s computer. I know there are updates for Windows 95 that add USB support, but I’m not sure whether it could handle a modern USB drive. Should I use a CD drive that can read burnable CD’s?

Just search NFS 3 Hot Pursuit Modern edition, it works even on Win 10 and has all 7 bonus cars & every cars available for HP mode.

How do you unlock all the bonus cars
Sportsmans-like way: Unlock them via escape from pursuits on all maps, catch all the cars and arrest all of them within the laps. Beat Knockout and Tournament entirely.
Fast way: Just type the code "allcars" in the menu and you'll hear NFS menu signature sound. You'll be able to select every car in the game after that.

Get the cd, copy gamedata and fedata, download the modern patch, unzip the modern patch in the same file with gamedata and fedata, click nfs3, you will ve presented with a little bit modernized version of the game.
