Rom Di Prisco made this soundtrack sound so futuristic and it was in 1998. Sounds like something from the future... like from 2030. It is incredible. Long live Rom for all those memories. The soundtrack is partially the reason (if not the main reason) why Need for Speed III became so legendary ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
TheSyrinx63 definitely. It’s still nice to play it again. But the PC version was definitely way better. If I looked hard enough I could track it down somewhere. I know I still have it. Not to mention I’m pretty sure my dad may have downloaded a fan designed car pack to throw in so we’d have more than what there already was to begin with. Lol.
TheSyrinx63 agreed. It’s funny because in my childhood I only played the ps1 version once or twice with friends. But I still feel more attached to that version for nostalgic reasons. It’s actually the game that inspired me start recollecting my ps1 catalog that was destroyed when I bought it one day for a quick nostalgia trip. Now my dumbass is just in the early stages of retro collecting in general because of it. Hahaha
I actually find the PS1 version of NFS 3 better than the PC version. The police is much more interesting on PS1 because it has funny voice lines talking directly at you, while on PC it just talks on the radio. The AI strength is also better from what I remember. And there are some special bonus tracks that you can unlock with codes.
I've lost a huge chunck of my heart in 90's and early 2000's. It really hurts me to see where the world is going. 90's were amazing, lots of beautiful things were happening.

Bought this for the ps1 the other day after having always played it on the PC. The lack of cars was so disappointing. 😕
