Great video! I’ve watched a lot of Apple “experts” videos and you’re the first person I’ve heard speak about the Family Setup limitations. I really wish I saw this video last week. I don’t see a disclaimer on their website. What’s the point of giving a parent or grandparent a Series 6 with Family Setup if they can’t use the ECG or blood oxygen detection or all the other features? It’s infuriating.
Thank you! Appreciate this! Yea I know, it's so frustrating - especially when we know that the Apple Watch has so much capabilities and yet is limited by the Family Setup 😟But I'm happy that this helped! Happy Holidays!!!

Love this video! Helped me more than calling Verizon!!
Sometimes I wished my uncle had bought me an Apple Watch instead of an iPad.
That kinda sucks too
I’m 14 and I would set it up for myself
Apple watch does support a lot of program. I like it.
I think people tend to forget it’s really first kids focused. So a lot of the limitations are specifically kid focused so I understand really most of them. Kids don’t need access to a lot of those apps. I honestly wouldn’t expect somebody elderly to want to use Apple Pay and the majority of that stuff. So it’s really a mixed bag.
It works the same it’s only limited when you do family setup . If you want to use all features you have to pair the watch to your kids own iphone
That's Lexa of the 100 in her phone background far out.
AHHH!! A fellow fan 😍😍😍
If you are over 18 the blocked features will be unlocked
If this is true that you can’t use any health features on family set up then my uncle did waste my gift cards but I hope not.
Less talking and get to it please
Hi Mandy I got the message about not having the cellular thing on my iWatch. Do you have any idea how I could still set up the iWatch for my kid? 🫠😅
This video is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for providing me with the information I was seeking. I do have on more question however, if I am to set up cellular on my Apple Watch Ultra and I have an Android phone, is the phone number associated with the Apple Watch Ultra capable of being the same phone number as that on the Android phone? @mintmindy
