  • Alaska has one of the largest fleets of 737s worldwide. It's their workhorse all over North America.
This flight was honestly one of my favorites with them. Being able to see the Northern Lights (aurora borealis) from my window was absolutely incredible! It's a sight that I definitely recommend seeing some time. Fairbanks was a charming city as well.

Really spectacular footage of the aurora borealis before you wisely decided to get back home to shelter in place. Thank you for yet another really enjoyable trip report. I wonder: Do you think the F fare is worth the cost on AS? I'm now convinced that AS's F product is totally uncompetitive, considering: (1) unimpressive seating; (2) phony IFE (handing out iPads - really???); (3) utterly disappointing catering. I remember being served hot meals in AS's F cabin (admittedly, a long time ago). Am I the only guy who thinks AS needs to do a lot better for an F fare? For me, their Premium Economy is a pretty good deal for longer flights - great seat pitch, earlier boarding, free alcoholic drinks. AND you can buy the same fruit-and-cheese platter that you were served in F for about $6 (less if you pay w/an AS BofA VISA card).

  • @Bobrogers99

There's not much standardization when it comes to airline class categories. A lot depends on which countries are involved as well as the duration of the flight, so the terms are not too meaningful. I recently watched a video of a Delta 2-hour domestic flight in first class, and it included full IFE and a delicious-looking steak dinner. Alaskan doesn't do IFE and you wouldn't trust their food, but it was still "first class".
I'm glad you made it home before the COVID-19 shutdown.

Theory of Evolution does not believe in a creator. Rather it rejected a Super Natural being -- Almighty Allah -- the Originator and Creator of the universe and mankind.
The theory of Evolution means that there is an integral relation between all life, which is considered to have a common ancestor. This is the basic premise of Darwin.
His general theory is that the development of life from non--life is a basic fact.
Modern theory is Synthesis evolution stresses a purely naturalistic (undirect) " descent with modification".
This connotes that complex creature evolve from more simplistic ancestors naturally over time as random genetic mutations occur with in an organism's genetic code. The beneficial mutations are preserved because they are an aid to survival. This process is called " natural selection".
The beneficial mutations are passed on to the next generation.Beneficial mutations accrue over time, and the consequence is an entirely different organism, which is not just a variation of the original, but an entirely different creature.
Do you find any address of a creator in this theory? The current ideas on evolution are usually referred to as the Modern Synthesis.
The modern synthesis, also called the synthetic theory and the evolutionary synthesis, was the marriage of Mandelian genetics to Darwinian theories evolution.
