Hi Luna, great deck! I would definitely recommend it to someone who wants to learn tarot with the RWS system. And with the sentences on each card, one could use it as an oracle as well, I think. It would render the "Temperance problem" (it makes me cringe too) nonexistent 😉!
After working with it a bit, I would definitely use it as more of an oracle. You can certainly do a standard tarot spread if you ignore the sentences. While they're a nice, gentle intro to the core meaning of (most of) the cards, ultimately, they are quite limiting to interpretation.
I'm gonna thank you for this video, I've came across this deck earlier too but never knew it was by Amanda Lovelace, being a poet myself I can relate to her and the aesthetics at back looks so good, this is my next purchase 🙈
Thank you! I'm always suprised at how solid white it looks on camera. There's still a lot of dark hair in the back, and some days it looks darker and some days lighter. Maybe it's the Moon--lol!!
Hi thanks I just watched the video... I am a complete tarot beginner and I personally was struggling with reading these cards myself... I am a very creative person, I have self taught myself to play the ukulele, dive into puppetry, as well deciding to dive into the tarot. I found personally her guidebook didn't help me out much while trying to learn the deck. I apologize for you having to shut the sun out in order to do this video.
No apology necessary! I'm thinking that this can be a nice introduction to tarot because of those phrases, but those very same phrases also make it pretty limiting. Keywords are much easier to fit into the context of a question than set pieces of advice. Have you tried any other tarot decks? My recommendation for beginners is Hanson-Roberts.
@TheZenWitch yes, I also a Rider Waite Smith deck called the original tarot, I also have the Unfolding path tarot, the mermaid tarot and lewlleyns classic tarot.
Hi, I love how you’re able to go through the deck and still show your face at the same time. What equipment are you using for that?
I use Streamlabs OBS with a two-camera setup. If you go to the Community tab on my channel, I posted a picture of the setup 8 months ago.
@@TheZenWitch Thank you very much!
I love the images ❤ thank you for sharing
It's perfect for when you're raw and need a gentle touch.

Also you're looking absolutely gorgeous, your hair ❤😍
Like I said in another comment, it's a perfect deck for when you really need a soft touch. Let me know how you like it!!

I literally just got this deck about a week ago!
It's a very friendly deck and aptly named! Let me know how you like it.
