Main point is, if someone just flurries without meaning then he is easy to down but if he flurries with an objective, then it could be a problem

Wild fighters are the easiest to beat, but if you are a swarmer with solid power/technique and a good chin to go with it, you can be lethal. Two examples are Roberto Duran and Joe Calzaghe. Also Manny Pacquiao to an extent when he was in the lower weight divisions.

why stay in the pocket and risk taking all that damage instead of L stepping/sidestepping/angling out and throwing a counter as you do so? I spar with a guy 80lbs heavier than me who machine guns with straight punches and rushes me and all I do is circle out and as I do, I either do light rapid fire jabs back at him with my close hand and guard my face with my other, or simply slip as I L step and throw a cross counter as I exit on an angle and then keep circling away til he gasses himself out and then I just unload when he's trying to catch his breath. The only time it doesn't work is if I panic, forget the footwork, and 'turn away' or if I don't react quickly enough. I'm new to sparring so that'll just take practice
