  • Be mindful of limiting yourself to one style. I believe every fighter has their core style but it doesn't mean you can't get comfortable with the other 3 styles. Don't be a one dimensional fighter, if you want to expand your game and grow as a fighter.

    An effective way I have found is to use a canelo type style of head movement whilst keep the jab light and prodding to distract and work your way in when in your free to fire off wait for their shots and duck and weave to each side of the the opponents hip coming up with flurry’s anticipation is key and reflex’s but you can also hang back abit try jab fight at range to let your opponent get comfortable coming forward and let them do the work for you.. this works well for me give it a go infighters

    Good vid. If the opponent has length on me, then I’m gonna do a lot of work inside. Or set traps mid range. Or switch stances. ANYTHING to take the reach advantage away.

    I think this is the most difficult style to learn and the only reason I have studied it is because of 1 my height and 2 Mike Tyson is one of my favorite fighters.

    Hi coach, im 5'6", 145 lbs, but ive been told i have really good explosive power, should i stick with the more brawler esq style i used when i started, or switch to infighting and use that power in my body shots?

    Hey Coach. How do I know if my young son has the potential to become a great boxer? With other sports, it easier to judge potential, but boxing is more difficult.

    • @coachdaronboxing
      @coachdaronboxing  2 года назад +5

      The first thing I look for is fast twitch muscle reaction and natural fighting instinct. How does he react to getting hit? Does he fold up and quit or does he fight back vigorously.

    • @coachdaronboxing
