- Dash-cam footage from a Tesla captured the moment a vehicle ran over a tire on a Southern California freeway that had just come off a nearby pickup truck, launching the car into a midair spin. This report aired on KTLA 5 News at 10, Mar. 26, 2023.

Nah if it was final destination the car would go flying in the air and then get hit by another tire THROUGH the windshield decapitating the driver, and the car in the air would land on top of another car, crushing them and the whole thing would conveniently be on a bridge so the other car that was crushed would push like literally every car off the bridge which would SOMEHOW completely destroy the bridge killing like 100 people lmaoo

@@eturn23 No because by year 5 you get complacent and won't always make sure it's still charged and recording so you'll miss the shot.
I've got into dash cameras 7 years ago and back then I have video of modest drivers that seem somewhat responsible. Today 80% is absolutely not responsible for operation a motor vehicle. Driving has got worse after Covid and In fact it has started a new trend. See it more and more day after day. I think I have made my point. Look at drivers in the past and look at the future today. Not too bright folks it's a damn shame that people have gotten stupid when driving.

No "major injuries" now but i'm sure the guys spine in some way shape or form got damaged. That's a crazy impact, no way you don't have anything wrong with you.
you won't know for a few weeks until your body gets over the shock and begins to heal. Like whiplash, it shows up three weeks later when your body goes into seizure. the driver and/or any occupants need a serious medical exam and NOW.
@@louisliu5638 Yeah, i'm sure some type of pain will show up in the coming days and weeks. I can't even begin to imagine, how the persons perspective was as all that happened. I remember my first car accident, gave me a little ptsd driving for a few days, can't imagine this one.
@@Refresh636 Dad told me when we went driving about the Santa Anita racetrack parking lot when it was empty: "you're GOING to have a minor accident, AND it will SMARTEN you up'. He was right. Interestingly, while slowly driving another car in the same lot had an adult deliberately and suddenly cut us off, and I slammed on the brakes. Never forgot that lesson, though at 17 I'd never think anyone on drugs would be driving around. Now I ASSUME EVERYONE is on drugs driving around. Stay Safe.

My worst fear when I am riding my motorcycle. Foreign objects suddenly appearing in the roadway.
In Canada you just dont' see those body sized pieces of tractor/trailer recaps they allow in the USA. We didn't ban them but you just don't see them in Canada. They're killers when they blow. All I saw on the SLC and highways were these large chunks of rubber. On a bike? Killer.
I inadvertently saved a motorcyclist on the freeway once, when a flying ladder caved my whole windshield in. Had I not changed lanes in front of him, that ladder would've sent him to the morgue for sure. We were going 75 mph.

@@theoBaba773 It's almost 100% chance that it was because of the spacers and the lift kit. It's simple geometry and physics that offsetting your tires that much is a bad idea unless you really know what you're doing.

That truck driver should be ticketed for operating a unsafe vehicle. Those are not the stock tires, I'm guessing it's due to the incorrect offset for the tire.
It wasn't his fault he was probably leaving a mechanic shop

Wheel bearing I`m going to guess they only last so long then boom! I had a left rear wheel flyoff a old chevy van doing 70 on the freeway. while I was sliding down the road the wheel with the hub flaming inside past me bouncing down the road ,rolled all the way to the next exit. I had been smelling this oil smell for awhile but could not figure out where it was coming from until that moment lol
I agree 100%.....I have seen so many people suggest it's a failed wheel spacer, however, you can see the rotor is still attached to the wheel.....so it has to be a wheel bearing/hub failure.
@@hotrodfanatic1 that old van, like my 51 p.u/ probably had the mount plated simply wear out. This, however, is a MAJOR MODIFICATION to original specs: those bearings were/are not designed to be loaded up with these balloon tires and heavier rims. But I'm seeing AUTHORIZED DEALERS IN Canada selling these rigs, so they must be inspected .

Almost all of these trucks in my areas are owned by young punk drug dealers and guys in the trades (for whom beer and cigarettes are their priority). also, new kids don't work on trucks anymore: drive them until they stop running.

@heirrose1606 Yea it was a gardening truck like a 1998 Toyota Tacoma dullie, and the first wheel came off, and he knew cuz the wheel was traveling faster than him

The municipalities need to start enforcing safety standards again, and go after drivers that are willfully installing hazards onto their vehicle, like the wheel spacers that failed here, tint on the windshield and block lifts that add no addition suspension travel. Make the lifted trucks use their mudguards too..
Those are actual safety hazards added to the trucks by the driver/owner.
