Personally, I think it makes more sense to adapt older games than newer ones because it allows the audience to see old scenes in a new way, like in the Sonic 2 movie when Eggman stole the Master Emerald, which is an adaptation of the moment in the Sonic 3 game, which is obviously very limited by hardware limitations at the time being on the Genesis.
Also those guys talking about they destroyed Bill because he was a hardass and they made him weak and in the game he wasn’t. In the game you literally spent 1 day with Bill after Frank had left and killed himself… how tf do you know who Bill was before that? You see Bill in the show before Frank and he’s isolated and jaded, tough and smart and then he lets someone in, had he not died with Frank in the show he would have went back to being jaded and tough because of the loss.
Made me super sad to realize that it was Shad in that clip. I always liked his history videos about swords and combat, but knowing he’s an insecure bigot is a big no for me. I just wish I was surprised given the ego trip he’s been going on the last few years.

Episode 3 was easily some of the best love stories I've ever seen. At least recently. I live under a rock. I was already emotionally attached to Bill because his actor Nick Offerman was in my favorite tv show Parks and Recreation so I already knew I was going to love him. But I wasn't emotionally ready for what that episode had to offer. I cried more than I have in a long time. I'm an emotional guy so I've cried in movies and shows like Coco, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, and Amphibia but this was something truly special. I've never seen something where I was emotionally invested in a character relationship like I did here especially after one episode. One of my friends hated the very idea of this show without having seen the show itself because he thought he was all high and mighty because he played the games and I didn't and I knew the second he heard about this episode he'd hate it which brings me joy. He's very homophopic which I am not. While watching this episode I literally cried "I want what they have." and I hope to one day. It's so much seeing all the people cry and complain about stuff like this. It brings me joy. Episode 3 aside the show itself was really good. I plan to play the game soon. Solid 9/10 rating in my book.
Honestly I could've done without the "gay" episode and been alright. But I did enjoy the episode. Actually, I felt my heart strings getting pulled. I can see how people rolled their eyes at first. I feel like hollywood does shove "gay" in your face without it feeling authentic. But this didn't feel like forced bullshit to me.

If you played the game and UNDERSTOOD it you knew this. The "DCL" is without a doubt the greatest MAGA fail of all time. 😂 Agree with Lee for the most part. I didn't care for the show, but that's mainly because the second game's storyline is vastly superior. That said, I cannot wait to see Abby (and who plays her) bash Joel's skull into a bloody pulp. Not a Pedro fan, so it'll be fun for me personally. But with the character out of the way, we will be treated to two amazing stories from Abby and Ellie respectively. Cannot wait to hear majorlee defend Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny: a movie that we know is objectively good, yet the clickbait Nazis and snob French writers hate it by default because...no real reason.
i thought the show was horrible. the dialog was awful and most of it was boring. the action was lack luster. i felt like the show was all the cutscenes minus all the in game action. sort of like watching walking dead with like 4 zombies
