If you are willing to fork out 100g for a martial manual. Makes your punch harder
You will first first grind the dungeon with your mace to save on reagents, you dont even need a point in the skill after you get the 100g you go the inscription guy next to the alchemist and buy the manual from him. You will train wrestling instead and its a good skill that gives you increased resistance to having your spells interrupted and extra chance for spells to crit. Also you get to punch stuff to death.
These guides were a huge help, can you do a guide for aspects and the like? Don't really understand the new content
Update: The spirit stones have been removed. You only have spirit speak to use now.
spirit stones are back. I got a 750 one yesterday. Spirit Speak apparently can recharge them.

and put grid only.. otherwise the ordinary loot window still opens...
so basicly i think everyone in this game are mages?... i bet melee / ranger doesnt have any particle effects even u feel like just rightclicking everyone? or am i wrong...
played last night like 3h , tried to figure out how trageting works.. or how i can setup something to cycle thru targets with tab or smt... never found it, making macros felt really confusing as well... didn't even find a place where i can see my skills, not skill categories but actual castable skills, or there's nothing in Archery category lol? literally maxed out at 70 in newb island.
My actual question is what's a good solo hero, i think some melee tanky one might be easier for a first char to learn the game... is Paladin with mace and shield?
archer was pretty ok for kiting and shooting skeletons etc, even almost killed troll with no gear besides the starting clothes :D lost 500g as well.. i completely forgot this game is full loot, and lose ur shit when dieing.. not sure if i lagged, i was partied up with some other dude, and we both got 1shoted, felt to me like a mob killed me, but maybe it was a lagspike haha.
Can i somehow Lock targets in place where the windows popup... in Retail.. there's a left-side window for mobiles wich are on local area... very convenient.
This dragging is so annoying, can't imagine how you can even pvp in this game with so clunky and cumbersome ux/ui... grid-loot bag would make sense as well... not all players of UO are veterans u know ; (
Where in options? I don't see it
It's very dark in the dungeon, can barely see what's happening. Also the volume is very low. I have on max volume and still can barely hear your voice. Cheers.
In actual play on your own screen doing a dungeon run with darker lighting is awesome. We can turn up the light setting in future videos too. Will try to sort out sound settings next video.
Great guide. You can tell this video is really old. There's literally nobody outside the newbie dungeon cave, nor inside....

but how do u learn new spells
spell scrolls sold by mages or dropped via monsters.
I'm trying to get into this game but man the way you cast spells is a massive deal breaker for me, after using spell bars for decades I can't imagine myself clicking and dragging everything on the screen just to fight a single mob. Too bad, because the game looks deep, but needs some QoL changes.
I haven't played this game in probably 10 years but we definitely had hotkeys back then. I would never double click a spell.
Bro he literally showed in the video how he hotkeys his spells lol.
